You're in a high level squad and you fail one attempt at pulling a mob away from a boss because your pet got ganked and died, then the mob came after you and you didn't realise you actually pulled it. You're slow to react and because it's a ranged mob you need to move your butt further away to get it in a decent position for your mates to kill.

Afterwards upon your failure, your squadmates, usually the tank begin to tell you how to pull the mobs correctly and "when you're pulling ranged mobs you need run back further".

Yeah, well, no *****. Like a level 91 venomancer wouldn't know that.


Or.. when your squadmates starts screaming at you to bramble everyone in the middle of an aoe boss whilst you're already spamming your heal, unable to do anything else because you're trying to keep the herc alive. Then of course, they yell at you afterwards for not doing as they wished.

    rarely happens to me...

    1 = I am always leader of the group .. ^^ and i tend to have a bad temper if you trample my foot;)

    2 = miss luring will always exist ;) mobs do move;) and sometimes get farther from you.. and get your pet killed. - why run ??? the tank is here to take the aggro before you take a hit.. he should try to learn its own job.
    With ranged mobs/bosses.. he should interrupt it/ stun it.

    3 = bramble every one?? yes sure.. like the cleric never forgets to rebuff you ;)
    If you forgot to bramble, no worries, the one wanting to be brambled should ask you politely , before the fight
    I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

    Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

    Don't you hate it when.....

    you are 8 levels higher than the bms and barbs of the party and fully capable of soloing the run if your smart. The rest of the party is BARELY able to handle the fb. You tell people: "go slow, let me lure" Of course the headstrong tank doesn't want to go slow and gets the whole party killed.....twiceb:angry

    Was running a 2-3, the barb says to rush at the start, then takes off before everyone gets into the first room with monsters in it. By time they do, the barb is very far ahead and the monsters have returned to their normal spots. I start killing them to clear a path and the barb blames me for holding everyone behind.

    I hate it when people tell me how weak and fragile I am. Phrases like "You're a Veno. You don't ever get hit." annoy the hell out of me. Ever since getting Alpha Male, I've lost track of how many times I've had to use it when things start attacking the squishies. Tell me I'm fragile as I'm tanking that mob using only Leech to keep my HP up, and keeping my Herc alive on the mob it's tanking as well. Go on. I dare you.

    I never bramble everyone, especially not the cleric and myself if i'm gonna be pulling.

    But yeah, the part where people tell me how to be a veno happens to me too. Like I chi the tank every time it cools down, so after 5 secs "venooo chi!!!!!!1111" then the bm wants chi for dragon, the cleric for BB -.-"

    Or when ur spam healing herc in 3-1 and they tell u to move the boss.. I hate cause i cant even type at that moment to STFU.

    I only bramble the barb, i usually dont even bramble the bms.. because i dont really like bm's. But i guess if they ask, they can have some.. or if they are tanking they can have some bramble. But otherwise i dont usually bramble them, their jerks.. all of them. And it doesnt matter if they have it or not, because i'm always tanking something with my herc before they can catch up to me. (well not all BM's.. the nice bm's get my support.. but i dont give it till they are nice to me)

    People who havent partied with me before sometime feel they have to tell me things i already know... i understand that they dont know me, but its really annoying. People who know me dont have to ask a thing from me, because i'm usually in control of their situation whether they like it or not. I'm in front of the group, i'm killing the mobs before the slow people show up, i'm pulling and killing the bosses before everyone is there. I'm in control...... and some people think venos make everything slow.

    Once in my early 70s as a cleric, me and a few guys went to 1.2
    We got to armorer, he was at between 5-10% of his HP, and since I am terribly impatient, I started to attack. We wiped, everyone needed the mats, 2-3 of the party-members left the guild and tried to drag me down with them. b:laugh

    That's quite similar with me, although even though I don't particulary like the blademaster, because they've got ego and axes they tend to aggro anything they can and make it harder for the cleric. So I just give them bramble.

    Words cannot describe the stupid that try to tell me, a level 91 venomancer how to pull and play a venomancer. I've got a reputation for being one of hell of a veno, in pve and pvp. Who the hell do they think they are, and what do they think I am? Stewpid or sumting?

    When a pull fails after my pet has gotten its attack off, after it's bit the stupid boss/mob, after I've done it like five times and it's still failing! (God that happened in 39 once. Couldn't get the adds to come off Farren at all.)

    When I lag after I pull Wurlord and the tank has to run out and save me because I can't get my Hood up to save me or move worth diddly.

    When there are two venos in a squad and the other veno won't help worth diddly. This especially pisses me off in TT2-2/2-3 when my herc ends up with agro on Ape. It gets even worse when they don't Amp at all.

    When the second veno in the squad is so brilliant that she uses Amp and then uses Soul Degeneration right afterwards. Curses only work one at a time. Why would you waste an Amp? *beats head on wall*

    When I'm asked for another spark twenty seconds after I gave a spark. It's a one minute cooldown. Don't eat my sparks so fast. D:

    When I use Demon Ironwood and get armor break only to see it disappear because some other nub in my squad debuffed over my pretty break! QQ Same goes for when I use Myriad. QQ Pay attention to my breaks please!

    When I rip aggro on bosses (mag/vit build ftw b:laugh) and then get b*tched at by the squad and barb for being an aggro *****.

    Getting yapped at for sparks and bramble, getting forced to tank because the barb doesn't want to, when pet pulls fail and I get called a noob... <_<

    But I have my revenge. At least in Gamma, when people try and tell me how to play my class. I let the headless eat them. >3

    *giggle* I fight for agro all the time. My squad knows it when they bring me that I'll try everything under the sun to get it. b:surrender Although stealing from Phlebo in 89 Eden when I wasn't trying to was not cool. I ran around like a chicken with no head for two minutes till someone finally got agro off me.

    The pet has to actually do damage for the pull to work. If your pet has a debuff on auto (e.g. slow), then you can't unsummon until the pet makes a real attack after the debuff attack. Unless you absolutely need the debuff, I would suggest just turning it off and having the pet do a regular attack.

    Sage and Demon Lending Hand have a 15 sec cooldown. Next time someone bugs you for a spark less than a minute after you just sent one, just tell them to buy you the Sage/Demon version of the skill. b:chuckle

    Sevas @ the 39 thing: Holy ****, that's happened to me so many times. ._. Farren's adds can be weird.. sometimes they'll come, sometimes they won't.

    I hate this one. I wish there were a way to tell a normal debuff apart from a break. My favorite here is when a veno had their pet using pierce and wouldn't quit. I was on a lucky streak for armor breaks too.

    Oh, my all time #1 most hated thing. I realize the value in it and don't blame Barbs (or anyone else using it responsibly) but it still ticks me off. Alpha Male. I don't like redoing bramble on a barb every couple minutes due to that skill.

    I rarely use my Lending Hand skill. The barbs I tend to party with are chi sufficient enough to Ream or use whatever skills and recover without needing it. Same with Clerics and BMs.

    I can't think of any other ones to contribute. But I agree with a lot, especially the armor break or magic break with Myriad.

    I hate when mobs/boss I pull don't get caught... over and over. I had a fun TT2-1 run some time ago. I died 4 times from 5 Wurlord pulls because barb couldn't catch them in time. I didn't die all 5 times because boss missed once, I think. And I know I pulled it properly, warned before pull, run through barb, but seems barb casted the skill too late all the time.

    Second "favorite" thing for me is - "YOU will tank not your pet?" Yea... veno can tank just as good as other LA/Arcane armor users... we are something more than just pretty girls with animal ears/tails without the pets >.<

    Third - Veno knows everything about all rare pets, their spawn times, current prices, who is selling them, what skills they have, all their stats at every lvl.... also knows prices for all pet foods and which mobs drops them in all lvl range.

    Yea, i really do hate it when veno's have mis pulls. it sucks. besides... everyone should be brambled before you start anyways

    Yea there was this time when I was pulling in FB69 and my Herc died causing a party wipeout. All the squad members were like yelling at me and asked me not to pull and made a Cleric pull. b:chuckle

    Soon, you can guess what happened and I started to pull again and this time more cautiously and all. And soon, before we knew it, we had cleared all of 20/20/20 in a really fast pace with Zero Party Wipes or no one getting killed this time till the end.

    Moral of Story : Venos are humans too and make mistakes, bare (Is this how it's spelt ???) with it. Even the most experienced of Venos can make mistakes some times, it just happens...

    And yeah I agree -_- I hate it when someone tells me how to pull... I find it insulting like I'm the Veno here with a pet and WTF does that person know about pulling ? I would be like ***** ! b:chuckle

    Personally, my archer loves bramble (Cleric and wiz don't mind either way). If I get aggro then it's either my fault and being brambles helps me kill/helps others in the squad not get aggro and die from my mistake, or the tank was being stupid and having bramble means extra damage so whitewater's hitting me in the face will be doing it less often than if I wasn't brambled.

    On a side note, I <3 bramble when I'm in fox and buffed if another veno's in the squad. Taking less damage than bramble reflects while adding in my own damage = <3

    and i concur! its a pain. i reckon its even worse when you are trying to lure and suddenly the barb/tank just rambos > dies > team **** > revives > team **** again > rinse and repeat b:cry

    whats the point of luring if you have rambo =_=

    @ Pt1: Uh duh! I do know that. I've grumbled at myself for forgetting to take debuffs off when I use my Kowlin to pull on some bosses. Now I just use my cactus with its range attack.

    @ Pt2: Really? Down to 15 seconds... Huh, cool. Although, not too sure I like the Demon Lending Hand with the chance to send 2 sparks and not just 1. >> I like my sparks too ya know! b:angry Besides! If they really want more sparks than I can give they should carry chi pots!

    To Minimono: b:chuckle My friends and I like to rambo. Of course, having a herc and being able to take a few hits on myself helps! VIT/MAG Build FTW!

    With the FB39 thing, I just run through the dungeon and kill anything that moves. When it comes to Farrenti, I just send my herc onto the boss, I target his butt buddies, myriad-> aoe pwnage ,__,

    I've never really had any sort of trouble pulling them though, my golem died a few times from being ganked when I was lower levelled, but never experienced failed pulling attempts even though my pet did damage o.O

    I know. It was so strange. My friend and I both tried pulling. I was on a lower leveled HA Veno that I have. She pulled twice with her pet and it wouldn't come. D: I tried pulling with my bear cub. It got its fleshream off and a second hit, but the stupid mob didn't come.
