Nix or herc 1st?

If I had to get one first what one would you guys say.
I'm in a pvp server and when i was lvl 30 i started getting red and ive been red at least once a day b:chuckle
I LOVE pvp XD

But hercs i heard were really good money makers.
How much farming would it take for a herc have to do to get a nix?
And out of fb and stuff the nix can still tank really good right so hercs are only useful in farming fb and stuff?

Right now I have a sawfly and it's bleeds are awsome XD
I can only imagine nix bleed b:dirty

    1> Since your on a PvP Server, go ahead and have fun, i say get the Nix.

    2> Herc's value has fallen now-a-days. Too many venos farm TT and you cant really get back what you spent on if you invest on Herc. You could always farm for money with Nix on Air Mobs and make gold for Herc, however Making money for Nix with Herc would take some time considering the insane price Drops lately.

    3> If you got a Nix and get into a good Guild, perhaps you could do TW and I know many Venos who got just the Nix, Levelled up fast and got into a good Guild, saved their Guild Weekly Money and got a Herc later on during their 90s.

    4> Most of the Legendary and TT Mats are dirt-cheap now-a-days. So you could probably afford good eqp even without TTing with Herc.

    So I think go ahead and get Nix =)
    Nix > Herc in Grinding on mobs
    Nix > Herc in PVP

    Speaking as someone who has both, I have to disagree with a nix first, atleast for the grinding argument. They've taken a lot of steps to reduce grinding, specifically outdoor grinding.

    You can't use a nix on BH
    You can't use a nix on WQ
    You can't use a nix on CS
    You can't use a nix in RB
    You can't use a nix in Frost
    You can't use a nix in Cube

    In short, outside of PvP you're going to be in situations where the herc is usable and the nix isn't. That alone makes it win by default. If you want to take the argument further, in terrain that's nix unfriendly (anything that isn't flat or in the air), a herc actually grants you a faster kill rate because it doesn't get caught on terrain. Ironically enough, you can loot without reducing your kill rate then as well, meaning that in practice you'll earn more coin with the herc than with the nix in outdoor grind content, and be infinitely better off elsewhere as indoors you can still use the herc.

    She's on a god damn PVP Server and she grinds with Herc ? lol. The days of farming TT with a Herc is long gone... I'm sure TT has gotten even cheaper now, was dirt cheap when I quit this game a month ago.

    A nix doesn't contribute to your exp, it like any flying pet would be purely to keep someone away that's attacking you. Also, once you reach a certain level (especially so if you have a herc) it becomes faster to teleport and farm coin to pay for it further diminishing the value of the nix. Most of those WQ spots are inside safe zones.
