How to 'Build' after level 90...

Everywhere I read about wizards I usually always hear be an LA wiz until level 90, and then go pure arcane from there.

And that's my plan so far, I want 94 str and dex to wear the hh90 green light set, but I was wondering, what are my other options besides going pure at 90?

I was thinking that if I'm already an LA wiz that already means I have more crit hits (but less magic) than arcane, so why couldn't I just do:

4 Mag
1 Dex

Every level after 90+?
Or what about

4 Mag
1 Vit

...to have extra life? I'm thinking that if I'm already going to have slightly lower magic attack, why not keep raising that dex a little bit? Or life?

Or am I just thinking about all this wrong? I am right in assuming that at level 90 I can put my stat points wherever I want after that, correct? Does this make any sense or am I just a total noob? Lol...

    Don't go LA at 90. The pdef and extra hp comes at the cost of 2k matk.

    Not worth it.

    after 90 you can stat in some vit: it'll improve your survivability a bit, though you shouldn't be getting hit all that much.
    Bladestorm lets you spin around like a carnival ride and do damage. Not using it is almost like having a move called Confetti Rocket Power Leap and saving it for "emergencies"

    If you're going to use examples, at least learn how to build a ****ing wizard.
    Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

    Trolling you is just too easy b:chuckle

    not as many stars as tika though, I'm disappointed

    edit: didn't put a lot of effort into them anyways, making eggs while on the laptop is pretty distracting

    lol.

    Can someone just show me two different examples of characters? One LA and one Arcane?

    And make them both wear no armor at all? thanks.

    also yeah the vit idea sounds pretty good, looking at that example above seeing 2 percent and 6 percent chance of crit still looks pretty pathetic lol so i guess putting more into dex after 90 is a waste. but vit seems good.

    every type of build gets improved in one way or another due to gear.
    Comparing chars without gear is like comparing Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso on their downhill skying abilities when both are wearing speedos only.

    In this case though, it would be alright, as only the pure mage would really benefit from the equip bonuses. Robes has tons of magic. LA has + dex.

    Pure>LA past 90.

    lol i guess that's true. well then i only want to see char sheets with the best of the best armors, what is the best for LA and the best for Arcane?

    Was bored so i made calcs of 90la and 90robe. Sort of ideal gear at 90..

    90int = http://pwcalc.ru/pwi/?char=725076dfd9de8d06

    90la = http://pwcalc.ru/pwi/?char=cd395c86ff6f4843

    You all can see the differences for yourself.

    Virtually same defenses, 2k difference in magic attack, , 5% crit, 1k difference in HP.

    10charrrrrrrr
