LVL 4 Manu quests

do u need just the book to lvl up?

or

do u need to do the quest and have the book?

    you need to do the quest. there is no bypassing. you have to have 1 of each 2 star item for whatever profession you are. which means, if you sold all your mats from grinding ie silk thread, rough fur, purified oil and concentrated glue, then you are screwed to get lvl 4 - unless you make a new toon and refarm which in my case is what i'm doing. good luck!

    ah right tht sucks in a way lol, thought of buying the stuff but its expensive and yea im doin the refarm with my cleric and veno atm even if i run out of mats then im problt gonna end up buying stuff

    I believe you only need the book. You can buy book from book seller if you already finish the quest, that means, you can get book from you alt who has completed level 4 or from other ppl. However those books cost a fortune to buy from book seller, so it makes more sense to buy the 2stars from other ppl to finish quest instead.

    I'm pretty sure you have to manufacture it for all manufacturing (except apoth).
    The only manufacturing skill that you just get the book is apothecary and it's pretty cheap. only 10k.
