Well it took me long enough. Like the name says this is a battle between pancakes vs. waffles. The ultimate battle...The final decision...The {insert cool sounding anonymous words here}... Say why you love hate waffles and/or pancakes. You all probably know my favorite and there's no worry if you don't pick waffles. (**** rifle)b:victory

    Waffles are crispy and they don't get soggy if you accidently put too much syrup.

    pancakes tend tend to absorb all the syrup and get this squishy texture that can be kinda gross when eating it

    waffles are crispy and yummy and their little pockets fill up with syrup like little pockets of yum-ness. they don't get a squishy gross texture unless you let them sit for a long time covered in syrup. They don't break apart as easily as pancakes

    Over here waffles and pancakes are different....for one thing you wouldn't put syrup on waffles (unless you have a strange taste) and pancakes don't get soggy or break apart easy (same for Scotch pancakes too).

    "Waffle" is one of my favorite words to say. You can't chant it without cracking at least a smirk. Wafflewafflewafflewaffle.
    To -eat-, they are very nice with fruit and whipped cream.
    It's also slang in the US to say you are waffling if you are indecisive. I have no idea where the correlation came from though, lol.


    Pancakes are denser, more filling. It's nice to cut a slit in the top of a pancake, stuff a little butter in and let it melt from the center out, and save that last buttery bite for last.

    I like them both, but I think waffles are a bit ahead of pancakes if only for the name b:chuckle

    Only if left alone for awhile
