Archer asking TT 1-1 question

Hi every1. I wanna plan ahead and Im wondering... is it cheaper/faster to buy the Swiftwind Crossbow or shoud I wait and farm TT for BrokenDrums... I have seen those sold 150-300k not sure atm.

Afriend of mine wants to sell me a +6 Swiftwind for 5mil o.O I tell him 2. lol what u guys think? On HL AH Swiftwind goes from 900k to 2mil average.

    if u have a decent guild, farm it. cheaper.

    otherwise i would stick with lvl50 box bow, which isnt much worse, and till u get to 70 u will definitely find a guild able to farm it

    Well.... I'd say farm, because it's fun to run TT.

    But if you can't get a good group, then the weapons seem to sell for between 1 and 2 million, pre-refined. Which isn't a bad deal.

    I suggest you don't worry too much about your weapon but you should farm TT for the mats.

    also either your friend was being sarcastic or hes an idiot/not your friend... tell him theres a magic hamster willing to sell him some health pot for 1 million each.... in Lost City lol.

    me like what vitenka says go group up with actual friends (make sure at all cost you don't bring in that "friend" who tried to sell you the swiftwind for 5 mil.)

    You can probably manage using General Summer's Longbow until 69, and then switch to Wind and Clouds. That mold seems pretty cheap on Harshlands at the moment, running maybe 300k in AH. The Swiftwind Crossbow does significantly more damage though, so grinding will be much harder without it. But that's what BH and dailies are for.

    Also, keep an eye on the AH for cheap Broken Drums. You can manage to get all 5 for under 700k if you check the AH often. I've actually made a fair bit of profit just buying and reselling cheap Broken Drums, or occasionally making a bow and selling that.

    Find a good Veno with a herc (I suggest 85-90+) and ask very nice if they would mind soloing it for you. You can bribe them with the mirages (and edges if they feel you're being stingy).

    veno can solo lord percussion in 1-1 w/o cleric? charmed?

    I payed aprox 300k for mine.

    Yh as sum ppl already said, Find a veno to solo it for you but they wont need herc or lvl 80+ lol, Drums drop in Solo mode so the veno just need a magmite at 75+ and they can solo HH 1-1 and 1-2 (solo mode) no prob

    Since you have to go there for quests anyway I suggest you.
    1. go and do the quests
    2. Grab some mats
    3. decide whether to keep farming or just buy the rest.
    A simple method to dealing with that decision for all TTs.

    Yes, I did it with my C.Mag, in solo mode.
    I was in my 60's when I did that.

    I won't lie it was Tough but do-able.

    but ppl in Harshlands is weird nowadays just last night I saw an idiot WCing "WTB Broken Drums 300k" ... u.U encouraging ppl to raise the current price. And I was wrong, the "friend" (I only know him briefly in game) offered his Swift +6 for 1mil well still thats a bunch.

    (not +6 for 6 mil my bad)

    I already got my W&C mold for 250k and a manufactured W&C for my wife's archer with 2 sockets for 600k.

    In HT you can get the TT60 weapon for a hair over 300k.
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.
