Im scared to share my account with my Friend.Because i might get Banned

I heard from someone that the person got Banned for Sharing her Account to with her friend.

So is it true that i will get banned if i share my account with my friend while we play in the same house at the same time because we like to share things and its what people do to help each other?

    I don't know if you can get banned, but it's discouraged because you can be scammed easily by sharing accs.

    It's against ToS and a bannable offense, yes.

    but i wanna share it with my friend and we have been neighbors forever and im sure i wont can scammed by my neighbor

    It does not say anywhere in the ToS that giving your acc information for some1 else to use is bannable. It basically seems to me that its at the users discretion and PWI is not responsible for any problems that may or may not occur because of it.

    Not worth the hassle of the possibility your "friend" deciding to gut your account when he/she gets pissed at you for whatever reason.

    Look mate, the issue is liability, when you share your account information you're sharing access to gold and CS items as well, not to mention your friend list and whatever you've earned ingame. Do you share your credit card's pin number with your friend too? Yes, this may not be as important but it's just as personal. Adults are suposed to have boundaries, your friend can play on his own acount. Even with the best of intentions your friend may drop stuff or be scammed or get pked red named... there are people who've invested hundreds of dollars on their gears and GMs are too busy to sort out what may happen to your char when someone else plays unsupervised. And how would your friend prove to them what you're doing is legitimate if someone acuses you of selling your acount.

    Now, did you mean to find out if what you're doing is wrong or just argue about it?

    To put it bluntly, yes, account sharing is not allowed. There shouldn't be anything stopping you from creating a second account for your friend to play on.

    From the ToS:
    By creating an Account or otherwise using the Service, you represent that you are at least age 18 and agree to these Terms, or that you are over 13 years of age and your parents or legal guardian have read and agreed to these Terms, and you understand and agree that we are relying upon that representation in allowing you to use the Service.
