Yes it does, makes the squad happy seeing a big chunk of health taken off a mob or boss in TT and other places with just 1 sharp tooth b:victory

You can further scare some of them by saying, "I'm going to heal the boss!" and fire an STA when the boss is at 50%.

Don't talk trash to our precious Elana b:angry

Lots do get confused by the apparent effect of tooth on a boss at 50%, I tell them I am casting "healing arrow" b:chuckle

The only bosses I havent been able to tooth are the ones in PvE TW.

At first I thought I had terrible accuracy... but no that wasn't the case b:cry

Then I thought it was a bug... but seems like this was intentional.

Regarding the apparent recovery: Imagine a boss has 500k/1m HP. Thus, the HP bar is halfway full. Now someone sharptooths it, say with -20% max HP. It now has something like 495k/800k HP. That's about 62% of the HP bar, thus it looks as though the boss has regained some HP due to the bar now being more full.

Buffs/debuffs don't cancel themselves, they override. If a second person sharptooths, it overrides the max HP reduction of the first sharptooth. Since the real damage occurs immediately when the sharptooth takes effect, it doesn't make a difference. The higher of the two will have done its job regardless of whether it's first or second.
