Which Patch Server Works for You?

Hi everyone! We are constantly striving to improve our game and to streamline the update process. Recently, we added a second patching server, and we've already seen huge improvements as a result. However, we're still interested in your feedback.

For those of you who regularly use the auto patching feature, if you could reply to this thread and answer the following questions it would help us tremendously:
1. Which patch server have you had more success with, Patch 1 or Patch 2?
2. Has the patching process been easier for you since we added the second patch server?
3. How often do you have problems while using the auto patcher?
4. How long after the patch goes live do you usually download t?
5. What region of the world are you connecting from?
6. How are you connected to the internet?
7. What ISP are you using?

    I am using patcher 1

    Yes It has.
    3. How often do you have problems while using the auto patcher?

    I don't have to many problems onl at my end.
    4. How long after the patch goes live do you usually download t?

    I usually wiat an hour.
    5. What region of the world are you connecting from?

    I am connecting from the Pacific West Cost North America.
    6. How are you connected to the internet?

    I am using cable.
    7. What ISP are you using?

    I am uising my own.

    I wouldn't mind seeing smaller downloads though.
    Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

    I changed to 2 after it was available, but never had more or less problems with either of them

    2. Has the patching process been easier for you since we added the second patch server?
    hm, seemt to be as always


    3. How often do you have problems while using the auto patcher?
    only had problems 2 times so far, always with big patches (stuck somewhere) only needed to use the manual patch once (last big patch)

    4. How long after the patch goes live do you usually download t?
    eeh... depends on when I got to bed/get up^^

    what? internet service provider maybe..? >.> a big german one^^

    when i wake up

    3. How often do you have problems while using the auto patcher?
    None, excluding that one HUGEEEEEEEE patch you guys had that everyone was like WTF?!?! on.

    4. How long after the patch goes live do you usually download t?
    20-30 minutes.

    5. What region of the world are you connecting from?
    North Carolina, USA.

    6. How are you connected to the internet?
    Wireless.

    7. What ISP are you using?
    Time Warner Hi-Speed Internet

    Patch 2

    Yes

    3. How often do you have problems while using the auto patcher?
    Only couple times during large updates. Patch would keep freezing, so just used manual patch instead.

    4. How long after the patch goes live do you usually download t?
    Straight away

    5. What region of the world are you connecting from?
    Australia

    6. How are you connected to the internet?
    Wireless

    7. What ISP are you using?

    - Patch 2. I tried patch 1 first, but it kept disconnecting so I switched to patch 2.

    2. Has the patching process been easier for you since we added the second patch server?
    - Well, Im new to the game so I only had a day to experience with the auto patch. Second server helped very much though.

    3. How often do you have problems while using the auto patcher?
    - Not much so far

    4. How long after the patch goes live do you usually download t?
    - Usually right away

    5. What region of the world are you connecting from?
    - USA west coast

    6. How are you connected to the internet?
    - DSL

    7. What ISP are you using?
    - AT&T

    1) Patch 2 FTW!!!
    2) YES
    3) with Patch 2 never, while with Patch 1 the update progress frozen sometimes
    4) ASAP <3

    2:Yes,the few times i've used it.Normally i just get manual patch.

    3:Not nowdays at all. No getting stuck on some file and quitting&restarting the client anymore.

    4:Right away.

    5:Finland

    Patch 1 is the only one I use

    Not sure since I usually use patch 1

    3. How often do you have problems while using the auto patcher?

    Well since I do have a slow connection at home, its nothing related to the game.

    4. How long after the patch goes live do you usually download t?

    As soon as I can x_x

    5. What region of the world are you connecting from?

    East Coast, USA

    6. How are you connected to the internet?

    Wireless Internet

    7. What ISP are you using?

    -coughs- I don't know...since the wireless i use is from my neighbor ehehe ^^;;;

    3. How often do you have problems while using the auto patcher? I've only had a problem once.

    4. How long after the patch goes live do you usually download it? Varies - usually the next morning though. 6-8 hours after going live?

    5. What region of the world are you connecting from? north east US (Pennsylvania)

    6. How are you connected to the internet? Cable

    7. What ISP are you using? Blue Ridge Communications

    Patch one

    Havent seen a difference

    Towards the end of patches

    about a day

    Patch 2 is my preferred site.

    Yes It has.

    3. How often do you have problems while using the auto patcher?

    Never had one in my Windows installation and after i installed the chinese fonts the same goes for Kubuntu Hardy.

    4. How long after the patch goes live do you usually download t?

    Whenever I log in :P

    5. What region of the world are you connecting from?

    I am connecting from Athens, Greece.
    6. How are you connected to the internet?

    Cable DSL.

    7. What ISP are you using?

    I am using OTENET.

    i am having trouble trying to even start my game... when i was updating my path game version 196 it took awhile then it finished... then when the start button lighted up i clicked it and it wont do anything it wont even bring me to the log in page or anything it just stays there. what do???

    --patch 2 (patch 1 doesnt work for me at all)

    --not sure i berly started perfect world international....i came from the perfect world (english)

    3. How often do you have problems while using the auto patcher?
    --only have problems if i use patch 1

    4. How long after the patch goes live do you usually download t?
    --usually the next day

    5. What region of the world are you connecting from?
    --central united stats area

    yes

    occasionally I'll get an error transferring file - maybe once every couple weeks
    4. How long after the patch goes live do you usually download t?
    next day around 5 PM EST
    5. What region of the world are you connecting from?
    East Coast US
    6. How are you connected to the internet?
    802.11 G Network, sharing ~8 Mbps Cable connection
    7. What ISP are you using?
