The Off Topic Forum needs fixing.

I'm sick of it being flooded with contentless topics like this one or this one

"OOmGlol so raaandumbb:chuckleb:chuckleb:chuckleb:chuckle" Is not cool.

It isn't funny.

It isn't cute.

It's a waste of SQL database space.

Please implement some sort of rule about this. I'm tired of sifting through underage posters trying to get attention from mods and GMs (because asskissing is cool I guess) just to find one diamond in the rough of an intelligent topic that gets pushed back a page daily.


Sorry if I'm being a bit uptight, but that's how I administrate my forum.

    What's wrong with a bit of randomness every now and then? Besides the off topics are just for fun. If you want insightful threads, then places like the general discussion, class threads, and this suggestion area are better bets than a place basically dedicated to random threads. After all, most of the forums are dedicated to the game, while off topic is everything else, why shouldn't it be random?

    I am perfectly fine with being a bit spontaneous now and then, but this is just plain spam. General Discussion is meant for intelligent conversation relating to Perfect World, Off Topic is meant for discussion of things that aren't Perfect World. It isn't a party forum or a spam forum, it's meant for real world discussion.

    I mean, really, this kind of "randomness" is like striving to be stupid.

    Do you know what that means? It's a place to discuss anything that isn't PWI and that wont get you a ban. Last time I checked Muffins and Spoons weren't part of PWI and didn't warrent a ban (well maybe if you stole eatwithspoons, spoon's) so that means they fall under the category of OFF-TOPIC.

    It does say "OFF TOPIC" after all..... so shut up about it and be happy there is a section devoted to it.


    Some forums don't have one.

    Yes, I don't frequent General Discussion. Most forums do have an off topic forum, but are not meant for spam.

    Also big red letters in all caps make you cool.
