What can I buy for 1000 zen?

^^^, thinking about getting it, but not sure how the whole money/gold thing works, and also, which is better for a level 24 LA wiz, life powders or chaos powders? The reason being I collected like a million herbs all over and I want to put the most exp into my Apoth skill and also be able to sell them for money (and of course to use).

Also I already have a pigment dye do i have to buy clothes to use it? Cuz I want to use it so bad!

    you can buy anything thats 10 gold or less in the boutique. 1000 zen = 10 gold.

    as for your apothecary I see you did what I did which was run around gathering every herb known to PWI. then don't worry about which herbs to make just save the herbs for *not sure what the name is* 50 hp/mp for 10 minutes regen apoth pot. and just in case that mana regen pot. (Mana is more important than life. since you can use morning dew to heal. But just in case keep a couple of those heals 3k in 30 seconds apoth potions for when archers PK you and they WILL pk you. T.T)

    I would have to say Life Powders.

    Selling the lowbie apothecary potions or apothecary potions in general really isn't a big money maker.

    You need clothing for it. Most clothes can be dyed, with the amount of required dyes ranging from 1 to 15.

    An entire set is 10 gold (usually).

    You will probably find that exchanging your Gold for coin and then buying the items from the Auction House will make your Zen go farther. Fashion especially is often cheaper in coin than Gold except for the new or rare ones.

    Last I checked Coin was over 410K per Gold on Lost City. That means 10Gold will get you 4.1 Million coin which buys quite a bit for a low level.

    Veranda smocks (or whatever they're called) cost 1 or 2 gold i the boutique. Right now gold is about 450k coins for 1 but you can find a veranda smock, minxxy mini skirt, and dame's boots for about 500k total if you try (3 gold total in boutique).

    Hell, an entire plumed set costs a little over 1 million coins (less than 3 gold at current gold prices) if you don't mind shopping around.
