Q) How is Pet heal value calculated ? ie the actual formula behind it

Heal Pet [level 8]

Desc: Heal your pet, restoring 430 HP plus 26% of your magic attack


Matic atk    3716-4324

So Heal Value = 430HP + (26% * X)

X=your magic attack

how is it calculated ie does it take AVG magic atk[min +max M atk /2]
or ?

Reason 4 Question

if it take MIN M atk only then i should choose Weapon path with Higest Min magical attack

if it take as AVG magic attack i can choose 1 with lowest Min atk nd higest max magical attack ,

    It takes a random number from your base magic attack. Not the average, not the highest, not the lowest.

    b:victory It won't matter when you get higher anyway. If you keep up your Heal level and you dumped most of your points into magic, then you will be able to heal back 1.5-2k hp on your pets. b:thanks But at a lower level you're stuck spamming for a little bit if you let your pet's HP get really low. It's a problem I have when I play a lower leveled alt. Veno. :( I'm so used to my main's healing power I sometimes wait a second too long to heal my pet.

    Do you have proof of that? I always thought they were the same. I've never checked to see if there was a difference or not.

    currently with Grief[tt 70] full mag build i am able to heal 1.35k HP [Hp of magmite L:83 2703/2 : almost 50+ % hp]


    so doest it rly matter which weapon path , at lower lvls i nvr bothered abt weapon path , just bought cheapest weaponb:thanks

    Current path = Grief>☆Endless Ambiguity >Blade of the Red Dust/☆Wraith Conquerer

    now i taught as veno should have Higest MIN damage weapon b:surrender

    edit : Reason i choosed this path cause channeling at 9X tt weapon :

    Last time I was been tanking bosses when I was at fox casting amp.damage while I was waiting for fox coldown and I healt my pet the HP pet bar goes more up than human form even if my magic is same at fox / human

    and I was wondering of that I never checked it before too

    So it's only observational then. You can't claim it if you don't have proof to back it. I heal in FF all the time when I'm in TT, but that doesn't mean it's any higher or any less than when I heal in CF. In fact, to me, the herc's HP bar goes up the same no matter the form.

    I really doubt there is any difference at all between fox/humanoid heals. Maybe it was just a few lucky heals on the upper end in fox then a few unlucky lower end heals in human.

    I would have to agree Lloyd. Magic attack shouldn't change between the forms. If it changed to a higher degree in Fox Form I imagine players of the Veno would be pissed because FF is melee based.

    Today I was tanking Phlebo with my herc and decided to let the HP get low a few times to test this out. Can't be sure, since I was too chicken to let it happen too many times and push my luck, but FF heal did seem to recover more HP than my CF heal did. b:victory But I'll test that out more later on nicer bosses.

    (Sorry for the necro on this, thought it pertinent though.)
