For a start... if you just started the game, you wont be wanting to do PvP
Duels fair enough. but PvP youl get killed instantly at the start.
and it doesnt matter what skills you get.I Never Mean to Steal Aggro,
Im an archer... its in my DNA. its just... what i do.

yeah...i wont be pking now of coz...i just want to get a headstart what skills should be leveled up and whatnot.
doing the right skill from the start is better than resetting later when i m high level,right?0 -

The thing is, you can learn any skills at any level, as long as you meet the requirements and have the coin and spirit to upgrade to that level. Therefore, there is no "PK type". And also, you cannot reset your skills. If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.

Take your time reading that Guide, I believe its one of the best Archer Guides ever written, for a Beginner and even for an Experienced Player. Follow her Guide and I assure you you'd know everything that you would want to know about Archers. Peace.

hmm, I think what you meant are stats not skills. For skills, if you pick the "wrong one", you only need to shell out more coins and grind/Quest for more spirit. There are a few exceptions like knockback arrow and barrage of arrows, depending on what you do in the game.
For stats, there are a few main builds. You want 1pt into str every level so you can wear the highest level light armor, and most of your points into dex. No points should be put into magic, and vitality is where the flexibility comes in. Its hard to get everyone to agree on it. but most agree not to put more than 1 pt into vit each level. The main builds for an archer are:
- pure dex: 4 dex + 1 str/level
- hybrid: 3 dex + 1 str + 1 vit/level
- partial hybrid: 7 dex + 2 str + 1 vit/2 levels
I really urge you to read this awesome guide though, every archer should look it over at least once:

Yes, it is possible, in theory. In practice, however, it's impractical, since the highest levels of skills, the lvl 11 ones, require quite a bit of effort to get and cost up to two million spirit each.
Also, there are some skills that are better left to lower levels to keep the mana costs low, such as Knockback Arrow, which only gets more damage and mana cost with more points, but since it's only used for the effect, putting more points to it is a waste. If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.

ok w/e ill say something
these are my steps in dealing with some fkers
heavy armor
1) sharp tooth - lower hp
2) stunning arrow
3) thunder shock - lower metal def
4) lightning strike
5) thunderous blast
6) repeat from 3-5
Light armor
1) sharp tooth - lower hp
2) you can either do the heavy armor att or stunning arrrow
3) take deadly shot
4) take aim fully charge
5) quick shot
6) repeat from 4-5
arcane * our bread and butter
1) sharp tooth ( if they are full int, they would prob just die to this )
2) if they have not died - stunning arrow
3) deadly shot
4) take aim double tap
5) quick shot
also remember it also depends on what class they are and what kind of gems they have and how close they are too you, so it might take longer, but if you have a high enough refine in your wpn, you shouldnt have a problem.
also remember vsing a blademaster, its also smart to cast wings of grace when they get really close to you
the only class you would have trouble killing really is a barbarian, due to there massive hp( if they have over 9k hp, dont except to really kill them, but waste there heiro instead, more annoying than losing 1 doll if you are not fully bound)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

how did u get the crab as pet...looks so kewl with bubbles...0 -
I'm not sure if deadly shot is that useful.
Take Aim is far more powerful and faster to cast and to cooldown.
On Arcane and Light armor i won't bother that much.
Generally Autoattacking works much better,
U bother them on their casts, And u do more dmg/time.
And Arcane can easely be OSed by a critical autoshot (if they haven't a overwhelming gear of course).
So every have his own vue on Arcane and Light,
As for Heavy, nothing to say, it's just right.0 -

uhmm lvl 11 take aim is good, but me, i prefer deadly shot, mainly because in my experience, i have done more dmg with it than i ever did with take aim[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

F8 is my hotkey for my mount, and the bubbles is just an effect of the mount, nothing else really, but i sold my lobster like 1 week ago, i dont need a mount anymore, just flying around instead[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
What do you do when you use blazing arrow or wings of protection? Press R?
Also: Take Aim's damage scales with weapon damage. If you have a high level, well refined weapon, then take aim will do more damage. If your weapon isn't that great then take aim will do more damage. The only way to win is to quit. b:bye0 -

okie you see the green arrow and then the circle curved arrows like a recycle sign only circle instead of a triangle?
ya thats the sign for flipping it from horizontal to verticle and vice versa.
also works for the 1-9 number hotkeysdarthpanda16: Firefox crashed on me. Aryannamage: I don't think I am a GM that would be new.
Hawk:Do this. closing thread
frankieraye: I'll see if we can replace the woman with a stick figure and the tiger fangs with marshmallows.//Issues like these need to get escalated quickly to minimize the damage.
Kantorek: Yeah.. you should try it. It's awesome.
Sihndra: Nope- not currently possible under any circumstances. Sorry.
LokisDottir: I mean...not haunting the forums, nope nope..
Konariraiden: You don't know what you are up against. You will lose.
