Rewrite Celestial Sword

Celestial Sword genie skill needs to be rewritten. The description implies that it deals WAY MORE DAMAGE than it really does. I was trying to figure it out, at my genie's current strength it should be dealing 42,949,672,960 damage without factoring in physical/elemental resistance. There is no way in hell that it really does that much damage, so it needs to be rewritten.

    O.O Program it to do that much damage Please!!!!!!!!!!!!! but make it un useable in a dule or pk fight.

    That would get me past so many things in the game.

    Bad idea. That would allow lvl 15+ players to destroy mobs like Sword Tamer. That would throw the entire leveling system into chaos.

    This skill needs to be rewritten in the next patch. The description says it should be by far my genie's strongest attack, but it is defnitely her weakest.

    You sure you did the math right?

    Can you walk through what you did for us, just to make sure you are correct ^^
    or someone else can just confirm this.

    Well it is a "Celestial" Sword after all.... so why not? and it does grant the "wish" of killing a enemy.
    Isn't that what a Genie does is grant wishes?

    The description says each genie point doubles the attack power and the attack power is 5 for 100 energy, and my genie has 103, so its about right. My genie has 33 strength points. So obviously I doubled it 33 times. It implies way more than it really is.

    It's possible that I got my math wrong, but even if I did you must agree that the skill should be way stronger given its description.

    At present it does about 100 damage on mobs my own level.

    Haha, well I scoped out the new genie skills and did the same math as you. I was like "waaaaaiit a minute... that's an awful lot of damage." I have a feeling that the damage is multiplied by the number of str points you have. In fact, I feel like a lot of the new genie skill descriptions are very unclear. Some say Strength but it is written in green letters signifying Dex, and others are just very vague.

    That was my first reaction jach. They I've noticed that the devs haven't been doing the best job describing the genie skills properly, from something as small as typos to something as big as the getting the damage wrong by a few billion.

    I think some of it is there needs to be a little more in the way of double checking when all the texts are translated into English.

    If it were the translation Elder then the character skills would be incorrect as well, but they are correct and easy to understand.

    ive been testing out celestial sword, as i did the same math and KNEW it couldnt be right.. so far my findings: the base damage of the skill at any lvl is the base dmg at lvl 1 x the lvl. As it claims to do 5, then 10, then 15, so far this holds with the discription, in so far as the ratios of damage. Adding str is where it gets interesting; it seems that each point in str your genie has adds 1 dmg per skill lvl.

    So, at lvl 1 celestial sword, with 15 str, it did 17 damage to an opponent. every str point added increased it by 1: 16 str did 18 dmg. 17 str did 19.

    With lvl 2 celestial sword, the damages were doubled: 17 str did 38 dmg. Each additional point in str added 2 dmg: 18 str did 40, 19 did 42.

    At lvl 3, 19 str did 63, 1.5 times the dmg at lvl 2, just as 15 is 1.5 times 10, the numbers in the skill description. then, every point in str seemed to add 3 dmg.

    I havent tried against other targets yet, and there are a few anomolies so far, but i will post the conclusion when i reach it.

    just tried ont he same taget w/o their armor on and the theroy began to seem less refined. the basic concept of base dmg x skill lvl + damage added by str(which increases with skill lvl) holds, but the concrete numbers dont hold up
