I know the Tideborns will probably be the major part, but I am wondering if the expansion will bring different monsters on the field such as the Baby turtle/ Parrot/Hamster etc.

    The extent of which I want to ride a giant turtle into battle is unmeasurable by means that don't involve AUs.

    From what I see, the hamster, parrot, turtle, dalmatian, etc are all "prizes" from some kind of pack/box (similar to how the ninetails mount used to be).

    Just guessing and I was looking at the Tideborn pictures again and browsing on Ecatomb earlier. Also, all the rare pets are near one of the races and/or cities.

    Untamed = Froggy (Broken Bridge)

    Untamed/Arch = Tabby Plumdrop (Sparrowmark Beach)

    Humans = Snowhare (Hunted Path)

    Winged Elves = Baby Polar Bear (Village of Brutes)

    Arch = Piggy (Wellspring Village)

    Swiftwind = Puppy

    Arch/Sanctuary = Big Polar Bear

    Winged Elves = panther (King's Feast/Arrowhead)

    So wouldn't it make sense to have:

    Tideborn = ? rare pet (Unknown Place)

    What is that? Either it is some weird Jade Elfire monster type or that is one creepy NPCb:shocked

    @Ikurei: All Baby Pets are tamable by venos and can be made to All class pets not mounts. There are even slots missing when you go to the Zoologist. Notice the 2 columns on the first and second row are blank. I'm guessing that the Expansion will at least fill those 4 slots with new pets.

    I wish the Gms were on so they could answer T^T

    I see what you're talking about but I'm still a bit skeptical. If that's a fireball(ish) mob then it's the biggest one I've seen so far. Also, the body seems a bit boxy (the dark blue/purple part) and if you look closer then you can see two light brown things on either side of it. To me they look like wheels but they could just as easily be legs on a mob. Unfortunately the resolution is on the low side so it's hard to make out much detail.

    I'm not trying to shoot your idea down or anything. Most likely there will be new tamable mobs and quite possibly another rare pet. All class water pets might also make an appearance.

    What I'm trying to do is put some doubt into people's minds. In every game that I've played that announced their expansions ahead of time, somewhere down the line of idle speculation people start to believe that what new classes, monsters, skills, weapons, armor, etc they think up actually will be in the expansion. Almost every single time those same people are disappointed and angry that the expansion didn't meet their expectations.

    I think turtle and parot pets make sense, turtle water no question, parrot pirate, makes sense. Not sure how the hamster would tie in but maybe just for kicks b:chuckle

    Wondering where pirate came from? It has been recently added in auction house and also posted on Ecatomb's. This clothing line would compliment the release of the tideborns nicely.

    well, it'd really make sense that if pwi intends to expand upon water missions and play, then they'd accommodate the other classes in the way of pets/ mounts. The venos have rare pets for all terrain except water, which I always thought was odd, so it wouldn't surprise me if they released another crazy rare pet for water. I'd bet it's something cutsy like a sea horse. Course, I'd always be a fan of a jellyfish.

    personally, i dread this all. its all too likely to mess things up even more than they are now

    and from what i have seen on ecatomb, the hamster will not be a wild pet, just yet another pet from a prize event. dont know about the parrot, but i bet it will be the same.

    I'm hoping for some new land pets. At least 3 good ones anyways. Tank, magic tank, and a quick one.

    Its a long shot, but maybe a new non insect flying pet?

    the parrot and turtle both look like they will come form prize boxes, but a rare pet that could be tamed in an underwater city, like a new amazing underwater pet that would be a must have for under water instances would be something nice.

    since they already made a flying fish mount, wat about a flying fish pet?

    who knows they might come out with a sea horse, octopus, or shark.

    or a mystical creature, like a dragon, locness monster, a hydra (if u dont know wat that is go http://www.mythicalcreaturesguide.com/page/Hydra there), or sea serpent.

    on ideas of some mythical creatures check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_legendary_creatures

    it might not even have anything to do with sea.

    that is a level 2 land boss in TW. one of the items it drops is the dalmation, there is only a 5% chance it will drop anything at all with a .75% chance it will be the dalmation. factor in the fact you have 6 people in your squad and 80 total people attacking that boss your chance of getting it is slim to none. not that you can get it at all now that all lands have been taken

    far as i know only one boss in all of the HT map dropped anything and it was this one in plume it dropped the dragonfly untamed mount.
