only i have this bug?

when i am on the char slection screen my hero is bald ... and in game it has the hair style that i made my hero with and from time to time have a glitch and my hero goes bald again... but after few sec the hair on my char is back...

    I'm going to need some more information from you about your computer. Go to Start, click on Run (or Search if using Vista), and type in dxdiag and press enter.

    Click on the Display tab, and then post here everything in the Device and Drivers boxes:

    i dont think its from my computer i played before and didnt have any problems ... its the first time
    btw on my other char there is no problem at all its all fine

    Providing Surtr with the info as requested might help to get an answer. I have this glitch too, and many others have reported it (see links above) since the latest update. It may be a conflict between the graphics coding at the servers and the graphics processors on our computers. Be a lot of fun finding it on the coding backend. b:laugh

    well maybe its something from the new patch ... because i never had this or any other problem in the game (well maybe some glitches that my char goes back but its not that serious) so maybe there will be a new patch soon to repair this bald thing b:laugh

    I also have this problem and have grudgingly accepted that it's yet another bug which accompanies yet another update. The last time I logged in my character was bald to everyone, not just myself, so I'm doing a re-install of PWI. Probably won't sort the problem but it's worth a try.

    The fun is being sucked out of this game by constant bugs and glitches *sigh*

    I have already reinstalled the game, and even changed servers from Sanctuary to Dreamweaver. The only difference is now I have hair during gameplay, but not in the starting avatar. Also, if you change your hairstyle you cannot see the change until you start playing--cuz yer bald. b:chuckle

    I've seen it flash on and off when flying and underwater too.

    Adding new features to the game should take a backseat to fixing the most annoying bugs. However, from my experience of doing coding work, I well understand why it can be so difficult to get some bugs fixed. I can be patient, and it's a pretty fine game overall. b:pleased

    The re-download and reinstall seemed to do the trick :) I have hair!!!!!

    I totally agree about fixing existing bugs before adding new (and often bugged) features. i hope the re-dowload and reinstall works for you :)
