Question about using a Mac & Vent ....

So I want to start using Vent with my guild but the problem is, from my understanding, I have to minimize PWI to access it. How can I do this on a Mac? I've never needed to in the past, and the only time I've ever minimized it is by accidentally pressing the cmnd button.

Oh, and also, will I be able to still chat through the built in microphone, but have normal headphones on? Or do I need to go out and buy a headset if I want to have headphones on?

    O.o' what the heck is wrong with your ventrillo?
    You bind a key like shift to talk on vent so you can talk while in game.

    and aye microphone = different then headphones/earphones. One is for talking the other is for listening so probably should be able to. (^.^)'

    me use a laptop with a built in mic and can use plug in headphones at the same time. although me prefer speakers. d(^.-d)

    and me use P.C instead of mac.so.... maybe mac is just strange like that with ventrillo. (O.o)'b:shocked

    I didn't say anything was wrong with my vent?.... I've never used it before, that's why I came here to ask the question.

    well you don't have to minimize any game/windows it merely activates the voice transmission when you press a key which you can change.
    mine is the left control key strangely enough.
    should probably change that to shift or something. ^.^'
    if i ever get around to it.

    run vent as administrator or you'll have to keep closing the window to PWi to talk once you do that go to voice set up i beleive and make sure you sent the chat as a hot key a key that you don't use in PWI and when you want to talk just hold down that key and talk but every time you start up vent make sure to right click and "run as administrator"

    this sounds like Windows Vista directions - are you sure its the same on Mac OS X?

    @MagicHamsta -- I do have a server, just don't know about this whole vent thing..

    @Baalbak, thank you! I'll have to look around on the forums or post something about using it with PWI. I know with PCs you push the Windows button to minimize PWI right? Well the only key I can think of for my Mac is Command, and everytime I accidentally push it, it takes me to the desktop, but I have to restart the client because it messes something up and I can't click on anything, just space bar and type to people to let them know that I have to restart, it sucks, so that's my main problem is finding how to minimize to open vent and start using it without messing with the game.

    Command-M to Minimize current window
    Option-Command-M to Minimize all windows
