Sanctuary is down

At about 1:30pm EDT, the NPCs across the Sanctuary server disappeared, mineable resources can be targeted but not mined, mobs can be targeted but not fired upon. Chat channels all seem to still work but no meaningful actions can be taken (World Chat is full of comments on what's going wrong).

Reboot? Or maybe it's a more serious issue. O_o

    i have a lvl 20 blade master on sanctuary but when i log in it says cannot retraive character list!! whats going on what do i do??

    Please be patient. We are working on resolving the issues with Sanctuary.

    lmao I knew this would happen sooner or later :P its been acting up for a couple of days even when my graphic where low. BUT.....I know what it is Nef over power has over powered the whole server :P

    I was leveling with one of my chars (Sept 17, 2009 at 13:44 pm EST) when suddenly all NPCs vanished and all mobs had no lifelines.
    I then logged off and tried logging in again 5 mins later.
    I can log into my acct, but I have no chars at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!b:shocked

    Please advise asap this is very disturbing to say the least

    Lol you just unleashed mass chaos into Santuary, causing major WC spamming and several players going into complete panic mode.
