Locking Onto Mobs & Chat System

Locking onto mobs,

Is a nightmare ... even if u press & hold the SHIFT key - if you miss the mob with the mouse pointer u RUN towards the mobs .... Please make it so when u press shift it disables the movement of the character. ty.

Chat System,

Is really annoying (i have sent e-mails regarding this) Everything you do ingame INTERUPTS the chat eg: summon pet, stop autopathing, complete quest, talk to NPC, Leave group or someone else leaves group, use skills etc etc etc.

Start typing a sentence and one of these things occur & u end up stopping typing and THEN your screen is filled with opened boxes ie: bag, faction, skills etc etc.

Please attend to this issue cos i'm sure i am not the only player who is annoyed at this.

I have a solution for you and it's a very simple one. Never failed for me yet. All you do is... don't type while summoning pet, stop autopathing, etc etc etc.

this is a suggestions area for GM's/ Game designers not noobie wanna be's who want to destroy someone's post on the forum cos they have a sad little life!

And what you were doing was STATING THE OBVIOUS.... however it is not possible to not chat in certain situations .... think before you reply.

why should " i " use vent? this was a suggestion for the game designers etc and some noob decided to try to make them selves look clever by replying with a complete & utter useless comment stating the obvious, then claiming they were using common sense, (common sense would have been to not bother replying at all if she/he had nothing constructive to say) Basically this person has nothing better to do than surf the forums looking for people posts to flame and totally detract from the main purpose of the post.

I have to support this suggestion.

Sure there are workarounds to the problem and I use them. But I shouldn't HAVE to just because of poor game design.

These issues could be improved to increase the quality of the game and game play.

For me, this is a minor annoyance that comes up so rarely to be negligible. There's bigger things the GMs and Devs need to focus on first, before turning to something like this.

And sarahjane, please don't insult someone just because they disagree with you. This is, as you say, a suggestion post. Not everyone is going to like a suggestion, and will say so. Calling someone names for this is just not right.

I am kinda agreeing with the issue about chat problems and so (yet again i do agree on Miss's advice about trying to focus on one thing instead of doing multiple tasks(again its kinda inevitable if its someone who is leaving squad in the middle of boss fight or similar cases)).
But on the matter of flaming i would just like to add that she might not be a noob and it proly may be an alt that tries to be helpful(not intended as a flame)so refrain from flaming the thread needlessly.
P.S was referring to SJ.

no~ bad viper girl poor game design? it's actually pretty decent lols you should see some of the older mmorpgs i've played namely rappelz where all melee classes suck simply because any ranged class can kite causing all attacks to miss.
and ragnarok where they disabled an entire class with a single item. dam golden thief bug gives immunity to all elemental attacks.
hmm lets see Ace Combat it's made only to be playable if you cash shop. horrible turning rate and no ability to stop in combat. (unless you cash shop)
and a boatload of other games i've mentally suppressed memories of. (>.<)

besides sarahjane I assume you must chat a lot in game if it bothers you so. Hence magic hamster suggest you get ventrillo.

although I do wish there was like a button like tab in other games which must not be mentioned >.<' that allows you to toggle between enemies.
