Adding friends

Can you add someone as a friend if they are offline?

    ah right okay. Do you have to click on them or can you just type the name in somewhere or something?

    Press F to bring up your friend list
    Then Click, I believe, Add or Add Friend
    Then type in the name of the person you are trying to add.
    This is case sensitve and they need to be online

    my friends thing is broken kinda.. some times peopel are on but it says there offline >.<, i have to check guild and friends to check

    If someone is online but friends says they arn't its quite possible they deleted you from their friends list, this would cause them to show as offline on your list I've noticed.
