How about the massive genie nerf? I think it's mega fail.

Whats your thoughts on the nerf?
What skills are you most upset about?
And shouldn't there be more than just 1 affinity reset? Since most have multiple genies that all have lmao-nerfed skills.


If they were smart they would have reduced the price of the 5$ and 40$ genie resets, otherwise it just looks like another way to promote senseless spending.

    i see this post getting locked soon for massive QQ , but in the meantime it just really irritates me in general. seems like a new way to get money out of us. bleh, just one more reason for more of my friends to leave me for...that other place.

    Who cares? A lot of us played the game before genies and we did just fine.

    So did I but all the effort, time and spirit put into them and they completely nerf them.

    The fact that they change anything at their own free will with the background of wanting to get money out of it shows their testament to the fanbase and how much they don't care really.

    Changed genie skills especially the attributes changed for them = genie resests which are in the boutique for you to charge and buy.

    I rarely use genie skills as it is so I'm not overly upset about it. Extreme Poison and Holy Path are the only genie skills I use on a regular basis and neither of them got hit too hard by the update. Tree of Protection, on the other hand, is pretty well useless now and Cauterize is less dependable than before.

    And, Cotto, at least they offered a quest and gave people free genie restat items xD If they hadn't at least done that then yeah... I'd vote it was just a money stunt, too.

    I agree with Sgt and cotto...after these upgrades...there isn't a compelling reason to still play. Its now too obvious what the game wants from players..not 10 or 20 bucks/month...but b:angry...oh well it's been fun.

    At least think before typing. 1 thing is a game without any genies. Another is you not bothering to get 1 while others are getting specialized genies. For a simpleton gamer, it doesnt matter what others have since you're doing your thing. For a PvPer, its matters alot.

    Most players build up their char for more than playing with a pretty doll avatar and dressing it up. We want to compete and beat down our opponents.
    So yea, most people care.

    I'm actually happy with the lucky points. Sure I'm a bit upset with the Tree of Life but it still ups my health. And you get a Quest from the Watcher and he will give you reset Affinity and reset attributes >.>... for free

    All the other skills for me were not effected.

    Tbh myself, personally, gained from this nerfing. Due to my genies high lucky points, i gained an extra skill slot, and could use the 40 MAG points to boost the others. In all fairness though, were skills like cauterize and ToP really needing a 'dumbing down'?

    Not really. I found the new skill changes suprising and unnecessary. It was so random. Reminds me of that commercial "Life hits you fast"

    are not so much as a "recent"
    add so-to-say, but players
    did fine without them and QQed
    about getting them, now they're
    QQing about nerfing them. Make

    I love how nobody is allowed to talk or simply voice an opinion without somebody busting into the thread preaching "QQ".

    The only time I really see "QQ" is in the posts of the people claiming everyone else is "QQing".

    honestly i never QQed about the genies other than the massive lag that has resulted since they were added to the game....and i am nowhere near the only person who has complained about that one. This is irritating for people who have multiple genies that were built for specific things (TW, Rebirth, etc.) I have a gold genie that i dumped a total of over 9mil in spirit and xpcubes into about 4 hrs before the switch just to find i would have done it to a different genie if they hadnt done this. yeah yeah QQ but what else am i supposed to do while HT is down...again :P
