I'm wondering if this:

would be both a) faster and b) safer than this:

First off, there is less running involved in red. Secondly, while you can hug walls and dodge mobs in the blue route, you can run into fushma and rankar much easier than on the red route, which you can avoid them completely. Would there be less mobs completely going the red way? After having to dance around Fushma and being wiped by Rankar as he snuck up behind people only to have the squad wipe, I want to know if there is a better way of doing things. Since we all know that it's a huge gamble doing BH runs with randoms, as you never know when you're going to get a Barb who doesn't know what flesh ream is or a wizard who doesn't know what DD stands for.

I really want to know why nobody ever seems to go any way other than the blue route, is it force of habit from fb's that we go that way? What are the advantages/disadvantages?

    Every tie I have tried to go the 'back' route. Every single freaking time:

    Rankar has come up behind us anyway.
    And we've had to backtrack all the way round to freakin fushma in order to get one of the doors open *anyway*

    Fushma's a pushover, it's just plain SAFER to tank Rankar where you know he'll be. And those stupid doors NEVER seem to open right.

    But yeah, in theory, the route where you go left at the start is shorter. If people don't wipe on those stupidly fast wanderers right tat the start.

    Just go the shortest way. Fush and Rank are both easy bosses, so if they get in your way, beast them and move on.

    Just go the shortest way. Fush and Rank are both easy bosses, so if they get in your way, beast them and move on.

    I tried going the way the 'fastroute' as shown in first pic. Looks like going through first gate and running south past the fushma tab pillar and killing 2d gate guard and continuing West and then turning south instead of going back to fushy pillar and toward the rankar kill spot.

    Problem i have is that when you try to turn south where pic shows after killing 2d guard, the gate there is still locked. This route is impossible to follow with that gate locked, so how to open this gate to follow the route in the first pic?

    In theory the red way works perfectly as long as it is just the guardians you need to kill to open the way.

    Don't you also have to Kill Fush to open the way?

    I know you can skip Rank to get to Wyvern.
