Level 4 Crafting

Okay, I give up.

I got to level 50 earlier today, and it gave me a neato little tip box saying I could get the next level of crafting if my meter was full. Well it is, and has been, or a long time. Sure enough I go to the Blacksmith, go to craft a weapon and in the top right it says 100%. But when I try to buy level 4 crafting from the Elder, it says "Cannot acquire this skill."

What is up?

    You need to complete the level 4 manufacturing quests for the level 4 manufacturing books, have you done them?

    the ones where you have to create three 2* equipment/weapon

    talk to the arch elder or indicated npc and see if they have the quest for you

    You need to get the Quest from the Archosaur Elder to advance to Blacksmith 4.

    You need to manufacture three specific 2* items. It gets very frustrating, especially if you're limited on mats.
