If i understand correctly; you want a plain image with your lil' gif embedded into it?

Simple enough I suppose. I made a template real quick of what I think is what you're after. I don't have the time to make a real sig at the moment, but this should get you, or whom ever makes the sig, on the right path. You should be able to just open this up and start editing away.

    template.gif

Here's a quick overview of what I did incase the template doesn't work for whatever reason.
I used GIMP to open the gif, added a new layer, resized the canvas, saved as a gif, and used the settings: "Save As Animation", export, Interlace, Loop, and chose Frame Disposal: One Frame Per Layer."

    Good Luck! b:victory:

do you mean "I want to have my animation inserted into another image"
or do you mean "I want to make my animation be still"?

if the former - what is the static image you want it to be placed into, and how?

if the latter - which particular frame do you want?
either way is not hard, we just need to know what you are really lookin for.b:victory

@Bijin-> yes! that is exactly the kind of thing i'm looking at doing... okay, so you used GIMP? from what i understand, GIMP is like a free version of photoshop... so naturally i'm curious if i could do the same in photoshop?

@Baalbak-> it's the former that i desire, and here's my original siggy:

    pwiforumsiggy.png

i'd like the gif below on the lower-right corner of the static siggy, not sure if it's possible to fit it in though =S

    siggyo.gif

thanks for your responses, i had given up on figuring this out, but now i'm hopeful that i can learn how to do it myself, so i don't have to take up your time b:pleased

EDIT: i really should make a new gif anim now that i have my wheel of fate.... b:chuckle

EDIT2: found the thread where Cat was offering her siggies, it is HERE
