please help me i cant talk on ventrilo ! D:

ok i started my computer over my mic works and everything , i have a vista .... i try to talk and it wont let me , if i go into setup , test .... i can talk there but not in my ventrilo channel , i tryed running as administrator and nothing , i turned off UAC too , please help

    This is the same as what I have, I have xp.

    I have this problem on Team speak and Ventrillo, and It's nothing to do with the mic as i have tested it and works fine.


    I have adjusted everything to try make it work but alas! To no success b:surrender
