Pve,rs on a pvp server

I have played pvp servers in Everquest and World of ******** for many years and I see the same problem everywhere.Pve players and guilds take over everything on the pvp servers because they level quicker and make more money than people that pvp most of the time.Surely pwi should know this but still all the disadvantages on a pvp server goes to the pvp players-guards kill you,you make no money or coin while you pvp,you drop items easier,your gear shatter easier etc.On Lost City which is a pvp server almost all of the tw map is owned by a pve guild because they have 90% of the level 100+ players on the server and the best geared players in the guild and the guild earn 400mil+ a week and pay huge salaries and just buy more people if some leave to **** at the moment.

There are a lot of people like me who spend real money that is atually what is keeping pwi as a free game going, who likes to pvp and want to see pvp advantage the pvp player on a pvp server.Pve players can go play on a pve server if they can,t take the heat on a pvp server-when is pwi gonna look at this and make the appropriate changes that will advantage pvp players on a pvp server????????

P.s -Also look at limiting the amount of zones one guild can hold in tw- its not rocket science to know that once a guild has most of the map - earn 400mil+ a week it will be nearly impossible to remove them.

    Well, like it or not PvEers form the large majority on all servers even on Pvp ones. It's the law, if you want to be strong you need to be rich and to be rich you have to PvE. You seem to be a high lvl player so I suppose you know the insane rage that goes around anytime major modifications are made.
    PWI is not a hardcore PvP game. And PvE always is at top. Giving more advantages to pkers will increase attacks on players which will cause PvE players to whine and leave. The PvP servers are already underpopulated and if more players leave the servers will be empty.

    PvE players are dominant on PvP servers too. And tempering with the actual balance will cause a lot of unrest. I don't see any modifications in this department in the near future.

    Don't get me wrong I like PKing but I would hate to be on an empty server.

    PWI is not a PvP game. It is not PvP friendly and most everything is built around PvE. Even if it is a PvP server, the game itself is a PvE game, with a (shiity) PvP afterthought. The system is designed this way, so you will always see "PvE'rs" in a PvP server, hell im willing to bet 90% of the two PvP servers players are "PvE", it is just the way the game works.

    Any game like this with the levels and the grinding ect... just will not make a good PvP game. Either no one can level because they die all the time, or it's unbalanced because it doesn't really take a whole lot of skill in most cases, just get in the first hit = you win. No running, no blocking, nothin'. If good PvP = getting rewards for killing others, might as well head back to First Person Shooters or online fighter games.
    I mean, they could add in more limits like, can only kill players within 10 levels of you, and that's just the main one.

    And the PvE players won't be the only one's crying. PvP players will get downright fed-up with not being able to get up to a level they can kill anything, or earn coin to buy their equips, repairs, ect.
    To make a good PvP server, they would practically have to make a new game.

    A pvper complaining about pvp lol. Why dont you go grind get some cash and gear and stop crying. What do you exspect to get stuff for picking off lowbees (what a joke). Everyone else has to earn what they have through grinding and quests, so why dont you. Im on the lost city sever and alot of the people in the territory controling guilds i see are red so they must be out pking.
    You must be one of those people who try to pk someone while there fighting mobs and they turn around and kill you first then go back to what they are doing like you dont exsist.b:laugh

    This. I've played games that REWARDED PvP, even with a leveling system in play. You even got EXP based on killing others. You want real PvP, you play something that's all about PvP, not a game that's about Exploring and leveling. That being said, however... I'm actually regretting not having my main on a PvP server. I love the PvP system in this game. None of this hand holding that you see in other games. You die, there are consequences. Yeah, I know with Angels the consequences aren't as severe, but even so, this system keeps things in a semi-stable setup. I've played games that were worse against PKers. You think a little gear drop is bad? In a game I played, there were no angels, there was no Percentage to drop gear. If you were out killing other players and lost, you dropped EVERYTHING you had on. And I still was pking other people. It was great for cash flow. Go find some noob with a large e-peen and decent gear, and lay the beatdown on him. Sell gear, stock up on supplies, lather, rinse, repeat. Sadly... Due to the QQ of the people that couldn't handle such a concept, they changed the system entirely. I left shortly after for that, and other reasons.

    QFT , it's a shame to see that carebears dominate even PVP servers. And instead of improving pvp they made it even worst by implementing the shattered gear system. Early-mid game you'll have mass trouble with nixes and others pets too because your weak gear cannot hold a nix same lvl as you,not even as a HA user , and late game when ppl finally start getting better gears you'll notice the carebears with gears way better than you and higher lvls too.

    Either way it's pretty much messed up.

    It's an intrinsic part of this type of MMORPG. Your character's PvP potential is determined by it's level and equipment, you level and equip your character through PvE. If this is not your cup of tea, there are other MMORPG's that allow you to engage in various forms of PvP right after installing and connecting, with a PvP potential similar to that of others, without having to grind in PvE, ever.

    If you are here, and not there, then this means you've chosen for a system where PvE will benefit PvP

    I have played pvp servers in Everquest...

    No you didn't. There was no PvP in EQ. There were trains, brilliant ones courtesy of Fansy, and then there was jousting in the form of doing *maybe* 2k damage at a time on a 33k hp paladin, who also had 6.3k ac so your 2k was more like -36 damage a hit. And if you did manage to knock out more than 10k life, he'd just heal and regen all the mana before you got more hits off.

    Trust me, I know: I didn't play on a PvP server, but I testcopied to meet up with someone who did. We spent the next 45 minutes strafing before we called it a draw at 100% hp each.

    There is no difference between pve and pvp and I play more concentrated form of pvp rpg.I would advise you to remove the names of those games before spoons does.

    This game is all pve and we know it.

    PVP is for rich people that have great gears and levels to own everyone, even if you have skill it doesnt matter cause you are poor and charmless and you would end dying after ticking 2 times your oponnent charm.

    I play another game, that game is also pve game, but its different cause you have no death penaltys (pking doesnt exist) when you do pvp (pvp is organized). You get rewards from doing pvp and you can make some money (not many as pve but nice money too).

    Many people asked for Arena (free pvp instance) that could have mistyrious chips as rewards... but that will never be implemented. I do pvp with safety lock on that means I dont drop stuff... but I have chance to shatter gear and lose money, rewards for pvp in this game = none.
