How do I get rid of Supply Stash stuff?

I can't throw away my Perfect Officer's dualhammers or my Perfect Insignia.

I've far outgrown them, what do I do?

    Sell them to an NPC, or try decomposing them, not sure if you can do the latter though.

    Yeah, you can decompose them, though some decompose into nothingness.

    umm... why would one want to simply toss free money away?

    People decompose for chi stones which they feed to their genies.
    I do that for every single equip a monster drops (as long as my manufacturing skill is high enough..)
