Besides venomancer and barbarian, what's the best solo class? I plan to party a little later, but would prefer a bit of solo for now. b:pleased

Cleric and BMs are good at solo. The first has good resistence vs both physical and magic damage and healing abilities. Not to mention both physical and magic attacks to deal with any mobs and long lasting sleep to get out of trouble.
The second is resistent enough to gather lots of mobs and AoE them. BMs are very efficient. Also they get a healing spell too so they don't need many pots.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] <--Little siggy.b:pleased

I am a blademaster so i can pretend i know what i am talking about
Around Level 30 you get a spell called Diamond Sutra which saves ALOT of money on potions.
Also i have heard after 8x we are the best AoE grinders.
Only problem is that i have heard we are not very good at pvp....

If you are looking for a Character that can
1> Solo (Applies to normal and elite mobs only and not bosses)
2> Own all Mobs like a piece of cake
3> Really Good at PVP too
4> And most importantly, have fun and make loads of money
Archers are for you !
Solo - Excellent at Solo. I can say when I played my archer I levelled really easy. All you need is a good weapon. Heck, Mobs rarely reached me after Lv 40, I used the Lv 30 Armor way till 60... Seriously, that is how easy life is as an archer.
Note : Archers are extremely cheap if you play them right. Till 40, you need to spam skills like mad but after Lv 40+ things get really easy. And oh, Archers ALWAYS use lowest grade ammo, should be more than sufficient, Once your Lv 60+, Archers just need NORMAL SHOTS to take down mobs, No skills, No repeated pressing of skills, no worries
Money Making - You can make a hell lot of money if you grab a pair of good wings or simply master Wing Mastery Skill. Air Mobs are what you must grind to become really rich in a short time Infact money making is so easy on an archer that I managed to get all the money for my herc on my archer, then started a veno just becoz I got bored playing an archer.
PVP - Playing an archer makes a seriously PVE Noob (Like me) become a power hungry maniac b:chuckle Thats how much fun PVP is with an archer, especially if you like to attack ppl and kill them before they even know whats going on since you stay at a max range.
Besides Archers, I would say BMs & Clerics are Good at Solo too, Choose what suits the best for you.
If you like Melee-ing Mobs + Taking down Many mobs at once BM is for you.
If you like High Damage + Want to Heal yourself in emergencies Cleric is for you
If you just want to level alone fast + Make loads of money archer is for you
( Warning : Wizards are not Solo friendly unless you have an immense amount of dedication and resources to play one )0 -

lol@you. Archers are extremely expensive. High grade ammos are almost a requirement for archers to PvP. And high grade ammo = maximum damage input, it's quite preferred and smart to use the highest ammo possible at the current level. And most archers are required to wear HP charms during grinding sessions so they won't suffer death and xp losses. You can bet that any archers looking to zhen need to get themselves few MP charms as well. Archers are rather expensive, and not really considered to be a good solo class.
And what's wrong with venomancers? If you like solo'ing, venomancers are the only real choice to go for. Even though it gets dull playing a venomancer after a while...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
