    verify your files for one. and if that doesn't work install the chinese language pack

    edit: also try installing a newer driver for your gpu

    seems like you haven't installed the video driver. www.nvidia.com

    Your dxdiag says that DirectDraw Acceleration is disabled. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a button available to do that, which means you're probably not on an administrator account. See if you can get someone with admin access to enable it for you.

    Try running the 64-bit DxDiag and see if that will let you enable DirectDraw Acceleration.

    By the screenshots I'm guessing you're using windows vista. try running the game as an administrator (right click on the icon -> run as administrator) to check if it's an user privilege's issue and not grapics card/DirectX related

    Then in that case I would suggest downloading the latest drivers for your video card from NVidia's website.

    Ok got it solved.

    This is what i did.

    - Download the client
    - Manual patch
    - Download latest drivers for your graphic card
    - Restart computer
    - Run the game true administrator

    Damn this game looks good with all the setting at highest b:dirty

    I've been having the same problems... I've gotten the drivers for my graphics card, ran it as admin, and i'm still getting the same message popping up every time I try to start the game... b:cry

    What Bollocks said is accurate.

    Also, if on Vista, install the game to the C:\Games\Perfect World Entertainment directory instead of C:\Program Files\Perfect World Entertainment (or on 64bit Vista C:\Program Files (x86) ) one.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?
