I have been looking over various places trying to find some solid info on what you receive when a couple marry.I have been told several different things ranging from mounts to 100% bonus exp to new quest but none seemed accurate for some reason.

It would be awesome if you could 100% know the answer to my question before answering (no "well i think u get" answers please)

So, what are the benefits of being married?

(also if you could say where you came by the info that would be great)

Thanks. =)

If you're asking about the benefits of actually being married.....nothing except your spouse's name above your head.

There are goodies that pop out of your wedding packs but that's about it.

    Benefits of getting married.

    1: PWE gets your money.

... What? You were expecting more? That's it, unless you count having ___'s Husband/Wife above your name a benefit. I guess the excuse to throw some form of in game party could be beneficial, get some friends together, do a boss run or something, boss drops acting as wedding presents.

Ok, here's how it works. You and your/wife husband get a groom/bride pack.
You take the quest at the Matchmaker in West Archosaur. Open the packs, which hold the item you have to give to the Matchmaker and the wedding clothes (not the clothes which were on sale a week or so ago).
You take in the quest, you get a system message saying you're married.
You'll also get an item which hold 10 "gifts". These gifts can be:
    - Wedding wine, which can be traded for fb wines.
    - Wedding candy, which gives 20 reputation IIRC.
    - An item that enables to do crazy stone twice on ONE day upon activation. This will only work once, so not for the rest of your marriage or something.
    - An item (think it was called "triumph money) which sells to an npc for 99999.

You'll also get the name of the one you've married above your head and that's it. No extra exp or anything.

My friend told me you get +1000 reputation. You all can confirm that's not true?

That comes from the items that pop out of the wedding packs. It's not part of being married. In fact, you can sell those items (wedding candies) if money suits you more than reputation.

I can confirm that. The most you could get is 200 reputation, that is if you'd get 10 wedding candies.

Also, I'd like to add that divorcing costs money as well. I'm not sure how much that is, though. I believe it was 2m.

EDIT: Excuse me, didn't see above post.
