Cultivation problems with archer

I have a lvl 19 archer on the Dreamweaver server and I`ve just gotten the lvl 19 cult. The quest requires me to kill Carpest Terrors to get the flower thingy. I`ve surely killed over 50 Carpests and still no quest item :(
Now Im about to lvl up because I`ve killed so many :S

    You kill them til you've freed the captured celestial sprite or w/e it's called and then there's a 2nd part. You get to go pick the hidden flower off of the ground. You can look online and just type in the "celestial sprite location" and it'll pop up 3 locations. Just look for the one closest to you.

    I have killed billions Carpest Terrors.... I even tried having help from a high lvl, but dropped it since I may not get the drop if I dont get the kill.
    But seriusly; how many do I have to kill to get it?

    it can take a long time

    i think my 1st time i was killin' 'em for around 2 hours

    ***try this: log out to the character selection screen, then return (u may have to do this a couple times).

    theres another quest similar to this drop rate (lv 48 i think), and every time i got to relog several times to complete it.

    o, dieing works too :P
