This was originally posted in "Off topic" but was suggested it should be posted here so I did.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's pulled his/her hair out over this. Thos lvl 80 plumpfish near sanctuary, you know the ones? Yea, the one's who keep freezing you so you can't do anything. wtf? You cant' heal, can't fight, can't move, all you can do is watch them kill you. A man has a better chance of winning a gunfight with a knife. I grow wary of having to squad up to kil something I could wipe out in 3 hits. If only you would at least give us a fighting chance. And, no. The ability to hit them once is not a chance. Being able to purify ourselfs to remove their freeze would be a start.

because i was originaly just ranting about something that annoyed me. Then it was suggested that I post the topic here. Where a thread is posted makes all the difference on what, if anything gets done.

I think they should display a school behaviour, so when one freezes you, all the other ones would agrro and kill you. That would sooo rock...
And they really need laser guns mounted on their heads...Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.0 -

This is like asking FB boss to have stats of a normal mobs so that a wizard can solo it.
Some mobs are meant to be fought in party period. And your chance aren't that low. Bring a genie and some apoth to deal with the freeze.0 -

no its not you simpleminded fool. It's like what it is. Asking level 80 mobs not to constantly freeze you so that even lvl 79 - 80+ players can fight them without the need to waste loads of money on charms or squad, just to kill a normal mob that they could easily beat in just a few hits. All I'm asking is for them to reduce the duration of the freeze. So we at least have a chance. Instead of it being like taking a knife to a gunfight, savvy? one more thing i wanna add to this comment. You say bring a genie or some apoth to deal with the freeze? That proves you haven't fought these fish. Because you can't to anything once they freeze you. You can't heal. you can't fight. you can't move. you cant purify. genie skills are not strong enough to counter act the freeze, and hp pots do not heal faster than then take you hp. Savvy? You actually have a better chance at soloing an fb boss. Both are impossible but at least an fb boss allows you to use your skills.You'll never see me running away, I will stay to be

ok how many times to I have to say this before it sinks in? Its not about making them weaker, or making the game less difficult. And I'm not asking them to remove them or stop them freezeing. I'm asking then to reduce the duration of the freeze, so that when we do finally unfreeze we have enough hp to fight back.

Sending a man to a gunfight with a knife = unfair.
Giving him a gun = fair.
Being frozen constantly so you can't fight back = unfair

Whats worse is that you make it sound like nobody understood what you were trying to say, yet all you said so far is "My char fails, therefore i demmand change. Please make it easier for me so i can go from lv1~100 with zero challenges". You dont need to repeat that. Everyone here knows exactly what you meant, even though you yourself havent yet.
The plumpfish IS solable. Just because you fail to do so, doesnt mean others cant. Besides, even if you cant manage to kill it alone, SO WHAT? Its exactly the same as complaining about not being able to solo your own FB or quest boss. You ask for help, and you get things done. Its called 'cooperative gameplay' and it makes the game alot more interesting. The game should have more of it, not make everything solable. PWI already fails big time for letting the venomancers do nearly everything solo. Dont try to **** over the few decent mobs we got in game, 1 of which being mr plumpy. He's not even that hard.

it's amazing how everytime you open your mouth you prove you're an idiot. I never once said my char fails. In fact my char rocks. And I never complain about not being able to solo fb's cos I can. You're right plumpfish are not that hard, I could wipe em put in 3-4 hits. IF the game was fair. Normal mobs should be solable by chars of the same lvl or 2 below. It's the bosses that should require squads. Dont **** on Venos they rule, you're just jealous cos you don't have a pet.

The EXP reward you get from that plumpfish quest at the level it's given: About 2 - 3%.
The amount of EXP you lose from dying at that level: About 2 - 3%.
Actually, I think it could be less. But even if you die just once, the reward you'll get will only cover up that you lost so you'll be in the same place as when you began. Even for the SP and rep (which doesn't get reduced), it's still debatable wherever it's worth it or not.
It would be nice for a bit more rewards for such quests, that are more difficult than the usual.Non-mule characters:
