So who thinks PWI will have a zhen sale this weekend to boost participation in their anniversary pack event? b:chuckle

    hope not, gold price are too high already, and it is not fun when no one want to TT or BH anymore, ppl are too busy making money off the packs.

    I also hope a zen sale doesn't occur, some may think a sale will bring gold prices down, but it'll usually only make cash-shoppers richer and widen the gap between free-playing players and those who have large wallets, it's large enough as it is with these anniversary packs

    They'd have to be really stupid to have a zen sale. People are already po'd about the anniv packs.... a sale would just compound the problem and destroy what little is left of the economy (and player base who are fed up too perhaps?)

    they just did :) gold charm packs, who want to buy 5 gold charms for 6m, looking at the gold prices now. pwned

    Well it's not exactly a "Zen Sale" but damn it... stop the sales already...

    Now where'd that thread go where one of the GMs acknowledged gold price issues and promised it'd be "fixed" :\

    Umm... item sales raises the gold price. Zen sales lower the gold price.

    Gold charm packs? I don't see any announcement in the forums about this or on the news page. Usually all sales are announced. Are they trying to "sneak" a sale in so the forum group doesn't react as much or is the statement about charm pack sales bad information?

    This sale might actually be a good thing, making charms cheaper again.
    Paying 1.x M charms aren't really the way to go.

    zhen sale will occur most likely on the last week of the event, in an effort to pull as much money in as possiable. Those that are older and married, will get thier credit card bill, and the spouses will force some people to quit due to addiction. This is a great money ploy by the game company, they are here to make money and they sure can do it nicely. Now if anyone can tell me how to purchase PWI stocks I would be appreciative. ^^

    Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, they've gone completely overboard trying to earn as much revenue this month as possible.

    Newsflash to all you GMs and devs- with this charm pack "sale", charms on HT are still close to 1.2m each (380k+ gold x 3 gold per charm). wat is actually needed (and won't happen) is an actual charm sale, more than the pathetic "sale" that is currently going on.

    For example, half price charms for the rest of the month would be a good idea- charms would be a more reasonable price than they currently are, and resellers will most likely not profit as gold price will be high for the duration of the anniversary event.

    Or they could just remove Charms from the CS completely and put it at a stable NPC price. But of course that would never happen cause it makes money.
