What Weapon Path?

Hi I'm level 20 atm & was deciding what Weapon Path to choose.I like to PVE,but when I'm bored or really need to defend myself I'll PVP.My Stat build Is every 2 levels Strength 5 Dex 3 & Vit 2.So according to what's I've researched when the time comes I could choose any of the one paths.

What's the most popular.In the beginning I was thinking Sword/Blade,but now I was thinking Axe/Hammer.Can you Duel wield Axe/Hammer?Think I saw so might of answered my own question on that one :P

So what do you think?

    most popular = axes
    why? AoE pretty good while killing a group of mobs n good for DD a lot of mobs while a tank have all the agro.

    what path? = up 2 u
    why? cuz is how do u like 2 play, read lynduras guide for more info about the paths, a lot of ppl says that axe is the easiest so i choose that one n im enjoying it...

    a lot of ppl is also going 2 tell u that u r another clon bla bla bla, BUT at higher lvls u'll use more that one weapon.

    im on a pve server. duels = easy for me (depends on the players skills) i have beat venos n archers 10 lvls more than me, wizards n clerics with out recieving a hit also 10 lvls more than me...barbs....lol its takes 4ever. ill pvp at 80+ like most of the ppl do.

    If you are going to go axes you will need to change up your stat distribution. Right now only spear and sword is available for you to use at your level.

    Axes take 6str every two levels.

    I suggest reading both guides and go from there.

    Yeah,but I noticed It would be easy to fix at this point. 3 Strength 1 Dex 1 Vit every level.I was going 5 Strength 3 Dex & 2 Vit every 2 levels so I just need to balance It out.

    axe - fastest leveling, most hp, aoe skills, stuns
    sword - biggest single target dmg in pvp
    pole - ranged attacks, decent aoe skills
    fist - king of single target pve, hh runs

    make ur combination ;)

    I'd have to say that you have more stat points available if you're pole or sword. Axes require so much more strength that a pole can easily out vit an axe build.

    Axe and pole are probably the two best choices... both can aoe grind well, pole has the nice ranged attacks. As for which one to pick? Personal choice.

    yes but poles have no spike dmg so a pure vit pole build will never work in my eyes. as axe u have spike dmg anyway so u can put to vit watever u want, as pole and sword u need criticals badly

    it's up to u that's the best advice any1 can say :P. Every1 told me to go Axe but i <3 my swords to much to do so. Each path has it's strenghts and weaknesses. Once i'm 8x i intend to begin working on other paths as well to become better
    I dont level Slow I just enjoy the game b:surrender

    IMO, i would suggest the poleblade path, just because its a very well-rounded class that gives you good AoE's and it gives you a range advantage because of its ranged attacks... and as said previously it gives you many more options on stat distributiong between your vit,dex,and str....axes do AoE lvl quicker than poleblades but poles i find are much easier to manage

    I don't play BM that much but isn't it possible to go both ways for pve go axe and for pvp go sword.How would you set up a BM much like this as this is what I would like to do?
