2,490,000 gold is really a bit much for such a slow horse, for like 700k or so dunno todays prices you can get a polar bear maybe a panther, and they are much faster, so like how about a price drop? currently the only reason to have one is either to be unique, as you dont really see them, or to show off how much money you have.
maybe drop prices down to like 500k or so? b:victory

I could go for this. I'd be happy to have any mount at all, as soon as I can reach level 40...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

exactly and its not like people would stop buying mounts, cuz your gonna want something faster then the ingame ones, being as slow as they are.0

What planet are you getting these numbers from? LOL
A Panther is 7.5 Gold x 400K exchange rate = 3 mil coin for the same speed.
The Snow Cub is a little cheaper at 5Gold x 400K = 2 Mil.
But in my opinion the Horse is 10 times more desirable and should be more closely compared to the Silver mane at 20 Gold or 8 Mil.
As it is we are short of cash sink to remove coin from the game. To devalue the only remaining in-game purchasable mounts would be a foolish move.
I suggest they increase the price of the horses to keep pace with inflation. b:victory
As for speed. All the mounts mentioned above even the Silvermane, start with base speed of 8M/s they can ALL be double spurred and leveled to 11M/s.0 -

I see you can read, but maybe you should read my post again, cuz I clearly said I dont know todays prices. LOL
I come from a time where things were pretty affordable in perfectworld, and the store bought horses start 7.0 and ive heard in the past you cant even spur them.0 -

Well you must be a little confused because you start and defend a thread that implies that certain mounts are not affordable now, which means you must know what todays prices are. Then you say you don't know what they are.
If you truly had no idea then starting this thread is pointless.
It is true those Horses start at 7.0 but the interesting thing is that with the first spurring it jumps 2 m/s to 9.0 and becomes on par with the rest (the others only increase by 1 M/s with the first spurring). Personally I don't bother with rides that aren't max speeded after all the whole point of getting a mount is to get around faster. Now if you want to get around with "style" then that requires your mount to be rare and lowering prices makes them less rare.
The truth is if you wanted to you could buy a max speed Panther or Cub from other players for less than 1 Mil due to the large glut of them around. So if anyone wants affordable rides they are there for the taking.
The only reason I can see that you are complaining about the Horses is that you prefer the horse therefore you want the prices lowered. But as I said before it devalues a desirable mount. We already have the fiasco of Silvermanes becoming as common as Panthers after being introduced into the cash shop. It made PWI a ton of money but it actually makes me sick to see one around because what used to be a rare mount that took months of work to acquire is now a common ride.
I do not think it is wise to ruin the value of the two in-game horses.0 -
how am I saying that certain mounts are unaffordable? but pointing out that the ingame mounts cost more then the ones in the item mall?
and no I dont prefer the horses I have the anniversary mount cuz this account is that old.
"A Panther is 7.5 Gold x 400K exchange rate = 3 mil coin for the same speed.
The Snow Cub is a little cheaper at 5Gold x 400K = 2 Mil."
Ive never seen a mount sold for so high. I see in world chats the Ancestral boa going for 1.2 so you must be looking in the wrong spot or something.
so yeah I still dont get what your saying.0 -
There are 2 prices we are talking about here. Resale prices from other players and Cash Shop or PWI set prices.
If you exchange coin for Gold and buy the cash shop mount that is what the in-game PWI set prices I calculated are.
The other is the supply and demand price which for older mounts like the panther and cub is quite low. Even the Black and Red horse at resale is lower.
If you still don't understand then I can't help you.0 -
noone is gonna spend 3mil buying the gold from the auction to get a mount thats being sold all the time.
Not worth argueing over for just 1 person who thinks this is a bad idea.
