Too much dex

I think i need more str and less Dex
correct me if i am wrong
these r my base stats for lvl 42:
vit 5 mag 5 str 42 dex 169
with gear:
vit 7 mag 5 str 46 dex 185
and should i add vit , i usually don't die in pve unless i am ganged but i die in pvp if i don't use shell

I know this is really noobish question

    Your str is fine thanks to your equips. Once you get to a level where you swap out whatever's adding the str you'll have to put a few stats in str, thoug.
    You're an archer. There's no such thing as too much dex.

    Ok i think u should put some more str in, so its your lvl+4. Otherwise at later lvls you might have new gear that has no +str effects and you wont be able to equip any thing.
    Better safe than sorry...
    Vit is ok i guess, just dont add too much.

    vitality archers are really fun to play as in gamma/TT/fbs

    however in TW -.- they suck..... not enough power to play my role.

    Since your in lost, no vit :D cause no point in living if you can't kill other people

    Unless you go hybrid in which case it's totally up to you... but as it's been pointed out so many times, you're better off relying on your dmg rather than a bit of hp that won't save you anyway.


    Also, LightningArch, your str is just fine. That stat is pointless for us, as long as you have enough to put on your next equips you can go for full dex

    The statement: "Too much dex" Needs to GTFO of the archer section lol.

    More dex is a plus. Keep Str at a minimum required for the lvl (Which is Lvl + 4) and put absolutely 0 in vit.

    I met a lvl 80 archer that had Str = Weapon requirement, and the rest in dex.

    He was wearing gear from 50s and 60s, and had Crimson Horn: Soulsmasher.

    Is that too much dex?

    Thanks to DEX bonuses from gear, having STR only be as high as weapon requirements gives you less DEX than having STR as high as armor requirements.

    I'm currently at 91 STR and have 486 DEX. Although technically a player could have more dex than that, this is pretty much the upper limit, especially for an 8x.

    And max VIT you want is 3... 5 if you cant afford a reset.

    If you want to squeeze another 2-4 dex out of your gear plan adding Str only when you need it. If you have full tt80 armor than you can get by with 84 str until you hit 90. If you have a neck or belt that gives you str you can restat that into dex.
