How will this event affect TW maps?

with everyone and their grandma gettng godly gear and weapons, tomes, ect. The addition of bounty hunter and others. Disgruntled high level players leaving.

would this make TW more competitive? meaning could power shifts be more probable now? you're gonna have high levels with gear and charms and w/e. Will TW be pay to play 100%?

please discuss

EDIT: there no more tears

    alt-66 for "B" and alt-98 for "b".

Or if you're doing that on purpose, remember that it's down the road, not across the street.

If it doesn't cause walkouts (and it won't. Lots of huffing and puffing means that the house aint falling down) then at least on DW it looked like the duke was shouting the big guild names over and over and over....

    Continued dominance of the rich.

Before this patch, even the cash shop players had to work for mats to get godly weaps. Took months, which meant regular players could match gearwise. It was a 'balanced' game.
Now, the game is split in 2: Cash shoppers and regular players. CS with lunar gear that is bought with a few credit card swifts and regular with tt/ff which takes months to aquire.

Have no doubt in mind. Cash shopppers will own the TW maps. Like some ppl are saying, perfect world is now 'free to play, pay to win'.

Personally, I think the drop rate of lunar gears and rare sets is too high ( or maybe those rich people opened like 123123123 packs), I kept counting until a point I was frustated and gave up counting...

In harshland,I saw like 10 + announcement of people getting rare weapons ( not included the shards ) in merely an hour... This game is no longer balanced... The rich people shine, while poor dedicated players hideb:cryb:cry

i am actually really interested what will happen in TW now. big guilds who could win 3 wars at same time easy might not be able to do it now. not everyone in all those big guilds are rich. before charms in TW was a must, now it won't be anymore. big guilds don't have enough cash shoppers to send only charmed people to TW. so more guilds will attack big guilds = less charmed they will be = more easier to win. If smaller guild can get 80 people for TW they can win it because big guild will not be able to send 80 people to defend, for now it is so easy to change map by many small guilds attacking one guild. at the moment cash shoppers are scatered between many guilds.

then again, cash shoppers can gather up and make their own guild and then they might get most of ppl charmed for TW, but then again, how long will they last if all others guilds will attack them nonstop. how long they gonna spend so much real money on charms for weekly TWs?

The drop rate is tiny. Unless the Duke is giving some kind of hint as to where best to open them or something.

You're looking at about a 1.5% chance of getting a unique item at all, so less than 0.1% of it being the 'get a gear' option.

People are just buying that many packs.

All cash shops eventually ruin the games for people who can't pay, whether there is a way to buy cash shop items with game coin or not, this is just PWI's time. I get paid this friday and I'm very torn on whether to buy 100 boxes and pray for something good (really want that attack speed tome), or sell the gold for coin at the currently very obscene rate it's jumped to.
I will not hesitate to beat you over the head with your own stupidity.

    Yes I am a hypocrite.

Answer: They'll use the abundance of platinum charms people are catshopping. One platinum is cheaper than the two gold I see people say a TW eats up.

then Archosour must has the lowest chance to get the rare shlts, I used all the zen I charged during 15% bonus to buy 80 packs, guess what ?
I opened them in archosour and got only 1 platinium mp charm ...
Not planning to charge more zen for this ****.

nope, but smaller guilds don't have divide their ppl on 3 wars, big tw guild will have to. so if smaller guild brings 80 ppl and big guild 40-50, smaller guild have a chance to win. big tw guild will burn their charms down from so many tws in weekend(on DW server one guild have more than half lands i think, imagine how many tws there can be), so sunday or so it will be charmless tw based on skills and tactics, if smaller guild can bring more ppl then they can win even if their ppl are lower level, it will be more or less pure ganking lol

You really don't understand TW, do you?

Numbers are pretty important, yeah, charms are nice too. But if a guild is good, they can tear apart a smaller guild charmless. Why waste the coin on heiros when you don't need them? Only wars you need them for are the other big guilds b:cute

I'm not... and I don't want to either. It's not a requirement to have "godly" gear to play this game.

This is a TW discussion. Not general play. Your grinding and questing does not matter in this discussion.

It IS a requirement to have godly gear and godly skills in order to attack and defend in TW, especially on Lost City and Sanctuary. Take a peek at the maps.

I know Sanctuary's situation is mass confusion atm. Many people from Legendary and Nefarious have left the game, or are planning on it. People from other factions who had a promising future of success in TW have done the same.

Platinum Charms are 2-3 mil. Gold charms are 1-2mil. The only ones that can afford TW are the dominating factions on the map. Even their own player base have weakened, even if it is by a tiny amount.

Its hard to say what will come of TW. This weekend will be the first peek at what is to come, but something tells me there will be a bit of a shift in power on a few servers come this month.

Maybe its a good thing? Maybe not.
