New players behaviour probs...

Look ppl, it's not rocket surgery to get along with others in PW. But some players start with annoying habits that may drive away potential allies, in game friends and all kinds of help. So here's a few behaviour tips to reduce your chances to **** off ppl that may be helpful on future occasions:
-Don't call in a squad people if you don't have the same quest as the persons you invite. Calling in a person that has his own problems then saying bluntly "I need 30 [insert name of different mob than the invited has]". Squads are ment to prevent people that have the same quest from ksing from eachother.
-Don't call a squad if your in the other part of the map and you're feeling lonely. Squads are not chat rooms and the person invited may want to call people that actually share his quest.
-Don't abuse the rez that clerics provide. Having clerics nearby doesn't give you green light to run face first in tons of aggro. That cleric may later refuse to rez you when you need it most.
-When squadding with people try to have pots on you to keep things smooth. Don't sit on your **** every minute to recharge mana when the other player is doing all the work. Remember you get half of the drops.
-If added as a friend don't bother people with constant messages like "sup?" or "what are you doing now" and so on. It bothers people and it may come in unappropriate moments.
-If you are a recruiting officer and a player refuses your invitation reframe from pointless interrogation such as "why?, but why don't you want in?, don't you want to be in a guild?, i don't understand why, why? why?? why???." Make your invite and move on.
-If you're a cleric participate on your squad's attacks when healing it's not required. Don't be lazy.
-If you are other class than cleric have the same care when you PVE as you would have if you had no cleric in your squad. Ease his work and only ask healing and purifying in critical moments. Don't abuse the benefits of clerics.
-Don't randomly bother people with -add-friends- requests . It's better to keep those for people who helped you or you helped, people with whom you spent alot of time in gam and you trust. Random invites are annoying.
These are some of my suggestions regarding annoyinng behavior of new players. More to come.

Some things you should add:
-Dont send random squad invite to barbs and other classes with party buffs then whisper them "buffs plz"
-Just cuz someone come riding on a rare mount or wears black clothes (or something else indicating you got coins) doesnt mean they want to give you 50k.
-clerics should not have to blacklist ppl spamming whisp when they need rez, clerics have other things to do than rez/buff everyone. If you die ask once or twice in common chat for rez then just go to town. Also dont ask for buffs, if they buff they will mostly do it random just to be nice, if so always say "thank you" (all this kinda got mention by predikador but i wanted to add some things)
-If you are friends with a high lvl player dont constantly ask him/her to help you with quest as soon they log in.
-Stop asking "can u buy me air mount plz?" or even worse "can i trade my blue chain pants for ur flying sword?" (mostly they refer to aerogear or other expensive mounts) or THE worst "can u give/let me borrow ur mount?"
-Dont call ppl "noob" if they refuse to duel with you.
-Never AFK during squad if your not playing with your IRL/close PW friends.
Some of this i guess apply to veteran players too^^0 -
Finally a lowbie with a brain b:pleased
You forgot to mention the KS.. Also, if you go exploring the map and find yourself in an area full of high lvl mobs, don't keep spamming the people there to "help you get back home" >.> The answer is: Go back the way you came.0 -
Some of the things on that list are true, I agree specifically with the guild invite part.
However, it seems to me that this is really a list of things that annoy you, rather than a helpful post. Especially since you specifically bring up clerics so many times. And while it's true that some people are pushy about clerics and demand constant heals and a res even if they are all the way on the other side of the world, I also think some clerics think too much of themselves just because they can res and heal.
Every class has a function to perform, if you don't like having to perform your function, then solo or pick a different class.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Yeah I agree with the majority of what has been said. Not enough new players will read this though.
Also.. "rocket surgery" ? don't you mean rocket science haha.PM me on Lost City if you need some help b:laugh0 -
Rocket surgery is when a rocket is surgically added to your spine. Makes perfect sense.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

My experience as a noob! What I feel is good and what I feel is horrid behaviour.
I am currently playing and loving my cleric. Rhyss usually flies to her quests, and when I see people battling on the ground I click them and if they are hurt I use my mega heal maccro to zap em back to goodness. I do this all the time, and cast buffs on people, just to aid them and I hve made some friends doing this.
1) Even if your team is wiped because of a mistake, the person making the mistake knows they did it and probably feels bad about it, so making them feel even worse is bad. If you have experience in playing their class, give them some tips to avoid it happening again.
2) If you are a cleric. Don't just hover around in squad healing people. Heal when needed, but you still have a damage aspect too. The BM, Barb, or Archer should not be the only one doing damage. Sometimes even when being healed they might need to to take aggro for even a slight bit in order to not get killed. Be prepared to put yourself in danger, but not enough that you will die. Cause you maybe the only person that can res!
3) Share stuff with people. Bad behaviour begins with also not sharing loot. If you do not need something and the other person does, ask them. Giving them something will make fast and loyal friends who will want to play with you.
4) Be friendly to new players and old players alike,
5) Dont kill steal (Accidents happen but a simple sorry goes a long way)
6) Don't be rude when asking for buffs.
These are some tipsRhyss - Ever friendly Cleric.

The skill of the individual would indicate weather or not to do battle when idol. I'm not in the game yet but have much experience in other games where it was quite easy to keep up with both. Like I said, just a matter of the persons ability to keep up with both or not!0

This all depends on the skill of the individual. I have played in other games as a cleric and never had a problem keeping up with both doing battle and healing. Simple matter of hand eye coordination!b:victory

Here's a few:
1) Don't challenge fresh starts to duels. I've see many people lvl 20+ challenging new players to duels at the Northern Pass and the other starter spots. Seriously, don't do that it's just pathetic.
2) I know your trying to sell stuff, but don't do this:
Mirage Celestone 30k at center of town!
Mirage Celestone 30k at center of town!!
Mirage Celestone 30k at center of town!!!
Mirage Celestone 30k at center of town!!!!
Mirage Celestone 30k at center of town!!!!!
Mirage Celestone 30k at center of town!!!!!!
That's just ridiculous. We have limited space for blacklisting, so we can't block all of you out. The 6 second wait in the chat is there for a reason. If someone wants to buy they'll be listening so stfu. Give other people a chance to talk.
Don't constantly challenge a person to a duel. If they turned down your first challenge, then they have something better to do than reject a duel every three seconds[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
-dont spam the party invite button - the person declined for a reason.
-dont randomly party invite - try normal chat first, and if fails - try whispering someone who appears to be doing the same quest, or at the very least is killing the same mobs.
-don't be a pervert, racist, or otherwise use vulgarity on WC or any other chat channel - it is for this reason - as I view 90% of WC goings on as utter spam and a waste of your money and MY bandwidth and CPU cycles - that I stay out of normal chat. I dont really care about your wedding, but this can be forgiven (just don't expect the whole PWI world to show up just because you are getting married), or who you don't like and want to tell everyone to PM about such and such nonsense. Save the coin for something useful.
-don't spam someone's whisper channel when they get a mold drop during a BH squad run telling them to give it to you. Don't call them a thief or a cheater. DEAL with it... they got the mold fair and square.
in other words - DONT SPAM.I'm a man0
