My friends and I were talking and wandering if it would be possible to extend the cut off date of the anniversary mount to the end of October rather then September. Reason being is that most of us never even herd of this game until about this time. Now if the people that were around before October have to much of a problem with this idea then theres no need to even except it but I wasnt just thinking about myself here but rather all of those of us who came just a little to late for this.

Yea i agree, i never heard of the game until that same time
and i'd love 2 get my hands on a mount.
also i would suggest giving 1 free anniversary gift pack 2 every1 in the game over a certain lvl, like 30
it would boost ur sales a bit and also the drive 2 get to lvl 30 for alot of low lvls out there but having both is 2 much 2 hope 4
plz consider atleast 1 of these
    P.S. i prefer the mount 1

Though I had heard of the game, I wasn't able to register until November. I find it unfair and terribly upsetting that we are unable to get the mount because of a cut-off date like this.

Game launched at a certain date.

    Early players were early players.

Date was established to thank the players from the beginning as a special gift that NO ONE knew was coming.

The game constantly gets updates, quests, and items added all the time for every player.

Other contests and giveaways don't post change their dates or rules just because someone doesn't meet the criteria in order to benefit from what the giveaway offers.

People win the lottery, or at a casino, should people be entitled to those people's winnings?

    The answer is no.

    ;)

I agree that the cut off date is a bit cheating on those of us that did not register until after that date. Maybe a bit more compensation for those of us that have still been around before the first expansion. It's a bit biased to only give a reward to those that most likely participated in closed beta or just have been playing on the servers since that cut off date. It may seem correct to do that, but the majority of us that didn't have a chance to sign up for this game and didn't hear about it for awhile and that have still been giving this game support, to us it is not.

Maybe it DOES seem correct, but using that proverb, "The early bird catches the worm." That is NOT a fair term nor does it show that all the players are cared about. If at most, it shows that there's some exclusivism towards the ones that joined before that or on that date and how some of them might not even be playing while there are a large majority of us that have signed up after that date that MAKE UP your player rosters more so than the ones that did before that cut off date.

It may see it as "only fair" and it may seem as good to hold all of the "exclusive" mounts and items to get more money off of them or stimulate the economy in game. If all the quote on quote exclusive mounts and items would be put into the boutique, that would definitely make much more money if that's the aim at holding those items back for "exclusive" events such as this. It makes the economy go haywire. It also enrages some players, and if the player base was cared about enough then they would be compensated for staying and playing and not to mention the amount of money they've already pumped into the game itself even with the overblown prices. All we're asking for is for those items that are exclusive only on PWI be made unexclusive and we have the ability to get them ourselves without these events. It's understandable to have a few exclusives, but do it on things that aren't going to cause an uproar like mounts. Of course, there will be a majority that can't be pleased, but it would be better if all of these "exclusive" items were brought into the boutique itself.

I know I speak for a large majority of the players of PWI and I'm not afraid to come out and say that most of us are a bit upset with the way some of these events work and we would like a bit more from them and for them to not be as exclusivist. I don't really care what anyone does to me for this post because I don't really care what you think, but the fact is that some things need to be rethought of before more events are released.

    I agree agree agree.

I registered on the 3rd, which was the very very first time I'd heard of pwi. While I think giveaways are a grand idea, it seems rather unfair to be biased towards certain players. Joining in the game's early days means NOTHING! Half if not more of those players quit. How about rewarding those that have been active? or have actually done something to deserve reward?

AT LEAST make the mounts tradeable.

    Get it together, guys...

One more thing, I promise! xD

Lottery's give all participants an equal chance to win, darth.

To relate it to real life, this "gift" event is like giving all the males in the game a cool mount, just cause they are male. Joining at a certain time just reflects when a person found the game.

    Just a thought. b:surrender
