if you cant read it, why not try making your text larger and bold it / unbold it. I haven't logged in yet to see the whisper color change, so I'm just throwing out ideas. But still, you can change the size and thickness of the words, so why not try that?

It's a color problem...the color is hard to see against the background.

Nope started in December 2008 and get blue for friendslist and nonfriends list (though they were all faction mates)

The blue is irritating especially since I have Faction and whisper on when I have common chat up. So the blue whisper color gets similar to Faction that once in awhile, so I may miss a whisper or confuse it for the wrong chat.

If you can't tell the difference between light blue and normal blue, then I recommend you go get your eyes checked.

It has to do with the way the color blends into the background. There's also limitations on text since you can only make a window so large. I happen to use the largest size without bold (bold makes it harder to read actually), which helps with most types of chat. Anyways, that blue is very hard to see, a lighter color of blue like faction chat is pretty easy to read, but then becomes similar to faction. The pink isn't the most attractive color but isn't hard to read. It would be nice to either have that back, or to be able to define our own colors.

My Point is, the dark blue shade is hard to read. Maybe you should get your eyes checked cause you skipped alot Missy

My eyes are just fine. You don't see me complaining about the color, do you? No. I have no problems at all recognizing which is which.

I agree... Right after I opened this post, I got a whisper. I almost missed it completely. I use the smallest text size, bolded, so I can see the most chat possible. I believe that PWI needs more customization anyway, and user-defined colors would be a good start towards user-defined controls.

completely agree there, I for one would love to change the colors to suit myself, the default colors are not in the way I like them to be.

I can tell the difference, but they are both types of blue. The old color (or rather the color for those on your FL now) stands out a lot more than a different shade amongst tons of faction chat.

It is the developers who write the program code and create the patches which change, add or remove content. NOT Gm's.
