High Prices On Wedding Dresses

So how come Wedding Dresses are being sold for more then half of what they are worth in the CS.

In Game Sell: 1.3+ Mil
CS Sell: 6 Gold

I want to buy one but its cheaper by a whole lot in the CS. So how come players are charging an outrageous price for something that is permenant?

    Well i assume one factor would be the color

    second factor would be the current gold prices

    and lastly, because it's new and everyone wants one for their wedding (there was a 50% off wedding pack sale)

    Give it a bit of time for it to set in, most things will be artificially high right after they come out

    Depends on the price of gold on Sanc... Currently on DW it's between 190k-215k depending on the hour. That puts the 6g for the dress between 1,140,000-1,290,000 just to break even. 1.3m+ isnt all that much more than the cost to purchase it from the shop if you were to buy gold in game atm. If the price of gold drops, the price on the dress will too.

    The fact they also use 24 pigments does not help the cause..... IF you want any color that is not obnoxious, you will be paying ALOT for one.

    Although, is a twist of fate, you cannot get married in a wedding dress...... Now try to explain that one....

    Nope, the Wedding Dress is just fashion, if you want to get married you need a Bride Dress, which comes on the 30 gold female wedding packs.

    Yes, i know it's just fashion and it's optional to wear, otherwise people wouldn't have been able to get married before it got released

    I was just pointing out that alot of people like to "suit up" for their in-game weddings :P

    And i'm pretty sure the bride and groom fash are also optional to wear once you get them from the wedding packs(?)

    You do not need the Bride/Groom pack fashion to get married at all. All you need sit he Silk of Eternity and the Stamp of Eternity that come in those packs. The rest that comes in it is just .. added stuff.

    For fashion that takes an insane amount of pigments (24 !!) to dye, prices are set for the color (some people just overprice everything tho..)

    You can always take the risk, spend 6 gold for a random colored dress from the cash shop (you might get lucky and get a really good color) but I prefer spending a little extra off the bat to make sure I get the color I want and not have to bother collecting 24 pigments to dye it.
    If you have no preference for color, get the 6 gold, it'll probably end up being cheaper.


    With that said, Isn't the cinderella dress pretty b:dirty

    I think those dresses are pretty in any color. They look like "old timey" dresses. Even those horrible pukey green, the blue/green off black, bright yellow, slate blue ... the worst colors you can think of would still look good on that dress.

    I just bought one from the boutique and got doubly lucky with hot pink and boots that were a somewhat matching pink, but I would have been happy with any color. Although I'd trade my pink one for a black one in a heartbeat. b:chuckle
