Which is better to use on boss fights? Invoke to save the healer a bit of mana or Sunder to add dmg,(aggro?) and save the healer a bit of mana? I have looked thru forums for some comparisons but didnt see any?
Thanks in advance for any advice

    Invoke fo' sho'.

    +1

Invoke is 20 sec of 90% damage reduction.
No need to use sunder for aggro.

If you are looking to save the healaer's charm, invoke definitely is much more effective than sunder.

Imho, you shouldn't be using either of those at a boss on a regular basis.

I prefer to let the cleric heal, spam flesh ream like no tommorrow, with a touch of alclarity at casting times, and still manage to keep 2 sparks topped up, for use in case of emergencies.

I use invoke, when theres only one cleric, and someone needs a rez or when BB gets interrupted. Sunder can be used in case a patrolling mob gets to close and roar is on cooldown. Or to help hold aggro on multiples after roar (for e.g where those 3 dragons patrol in TT1-3).
When the going gets tough; Get a tank!

I mix em both into my combo rhythm as I tank boss fights.

As soon, as you think you have enough flesh reams to hold aggro for a while, [always use Beastial Rage whenever possible] use Invoke when you can. Normal attack a lot, using Alacrity whenever necessary to cancel Boss's channeling, and at the half cooldown of invoke, I usually have enough time to use a sunder, and then gain enough chi again to use invoke when that cooldowns. Of course, you still need to throw in another flesh ream every so often.

    ^ Truth.

Which one is better to us? Invoke. You are pretty much invincible for 20 seconds, vs Sunder's low regen capabilities. Sunder will be especially useless when bosses start hitting you for 1k, 2k, and beyond at the 8x and 9x levels. It's a PVE skill, but more for grinding than tanking.

Which one SHOULD you use? Neither. Save your chi for flesh ream to hold aggro! Invoke is really only for emergency situations.

Thanks all. Makes good sense. Will save for emergency or us invoke if well covered.

Same plan I use. By the time either Sunder or Invoke is cooled down, I already have 2 full sparks, and I am still spamming FR when I can.

    Invoke fo' sho'.

For sho -_-; omg... it's a damn lotus.... that is so not cool... Sunder b:dirty so awsome

+ Depends at which lvl you are... A lot of inexp clerics... don't even notice when you invoke... so they just continue healing... :/ I sometimes miss it myself by not paying attention too much if it's just spam healing.
