Spammers/ Reporting fix.

I'd like to suggest adding a "Report Spammer" button for people who are doing nothing more than bad mouthing others in game.

EX: This character "Cala..." (obviously on a decoy account) in West Arch spamming to try and discredit Calamity, saying things such as "Calamity pulls AoE bosses in towns I saw it!" I suggested him to submit a ticket with screen shots if this was the case. Then it devolved into things like this....

He constantly sat there spamming the same things over and over. When people told him no one was listening to him or suggested him to stop spamming, he and his friend (Noob...) would then say you are spamming.

I'm suggesting the "Report Hacker" button be either fixed to where you can report for something other then just "hacking." Or make another button to deal with people like this. Since it takes so long to submit a ticket and for GMs to get back to you that these people can just sit there all day and annoy people.

Ok so which names can't I post? The offenders or the people in local. If its the offenders I don't see why since its a decoy account that's made for the sole purpose that they know they'll probably be banned.

Buuut anyhooo the suggestion still stands. Its a pretty big lag between submitting a ticket and GMs acting upon it. So people who are doing this with a decoy are really just getting away with nothing happening to them. The least you could do is have an instant in-game reaction to something like this.

just the names in general, I see your point but we don't want to encourage naming and shaming in any form, even if it's an alt.

Almost seems like it takes away from what they were saying, but oh well profanity and names are a no no I guess lol.

What might be a useful alternative is the ability to Thumbs up or Thumbs down a particular post. This would be great for trolling through a busy thread full of essays as you can quickly see which posts are helpful and worth checking out and which are flamers that you can pass over

Also since the results would be annonymous i would think it should also reduce the number of back and forth flaming; as well it would reduce clutter of
"i agree"/"cool" posts and minimise the filler post that don't really need to exist if a rating like system was in place

Similar to the sort of comment ranking you would see on you tube or on line stores. resulting in 3 out 10 people found this post useful, or

    +3 b:kiss -2 b:shutup

Not with bear icons but you get the idea b:chuckle

Anyway over all I think this would be are good idea to increase forum efficiency and reduce flaming and needlessly repeated QQ

Haha welllll, here's where this suggestion would have helped some too. Just a few minutes ago a player went off the handle and started cursing up a storm, using spaces to avoid censorship. Went on for about 10-15 min till something was done. If he got ban hammered for cursing or just ran out of teles I don't know, but it could have been stopped way before hand.
