Gender and Name MakeOver Scroll

i, and probably many others, would like to see a gender and name makeover scroll implemented in pwi.....so make this happen to us who has been playing this for some time now.

    the name scroll might make things confusing for factions and friends, and I don't think many ppl would want to change their gender. Plus, it would be pretty useless for the untamed.

    Untamed wouldn't really have much use for the gender scroll, that's true.
    I would like a Name/gender makeover scroll for the rest of us though if they can do it. I don't really care if my faction or friends get confused. It's my character, not theirs. There's always that thing called chat to communicate that I look/am named something else. :3

    Definitely second the gender change item (not that I need it myself.. yet). It gives that extra option for those that wish to change their character's gender.

    But the name change? I don't think so. Your alias is who you are online. Imagine if you could change your name as well as your gender. What ever bad reputation you had on your server would just disappear by forking out cash for these items. No thanks.

    Name change: Too many exploits.

    Gender change: "Hello, my name is Betty, and I used to be a girl." Refer to above as to why the name can't change.

    Name changes are possible apparently although reserved for GMs or those with the authority for special cases like offensive names.

    And as for gender........

    Yes please, especially with valentine here. People made a character, but what if they have fallen in love with someone ( from the other gender ). But both are playing the same gender in game ....

    Can you denie them their love because they were unknowing when they began their journey in Perfect World ?

    No World is perfect when you are denied your love, because of a decision you made on lvl 1.

    Yeah i agree. i think a gender scroll would be a nice addition to the game.

    for gender scroll > then would be possible do marriage with same gender..."oh noes my wife just change gender"xD
    for name scroll > possible problems with friend list, but if that possible to solve...it really could be worth 30 gold...any person, who would make many mistakes ingame, could change name and start be good/evil again XD but still, what will happen to items, which u crafted?

    I think name change availability would be nice. The GMs have said repeatedly it won't happen due to potential for abuse exploits etc.

    I have seen it available in other MMOs for a hefty charge. I believe it should be available. Many players start a character level it up and then realize it is a rather dumb name but they have already put thousands of hours and many $ into it and don't want to re-roll.

    I think if the charge is high enough it would reduce abuse and give PWE adequate profit to deal with any issues that might arise.

    Personally, I don't think either of these should be in PWI (just my opinion on this, if you don't like it, then don't complain about it).

    Name change: Your name is your name. It's one of the first things people know you. It's how you are identified in game, and if people are able to change it at will, then nobody can ever have a single identity. Plus, there's the issue of scammers. If players are able to change their names, then they can get away with just about anything.

    Gender change: Creepy much? If you find you don't want to play as your current in game gender, then why don't you reroll? I find the 'high level' issue to be void on this one. If you find you don't like your gender, it'll probably happen closer to the early levels of the game, when it won't be as much of an issue. And, as for the 'falling in love' argument that was made earlier, who said you had to get married in the first place? It's an optional feature with no real benefit other than to say that you got married. And if you really wanted to, just reroll or something. Even if it's at a high level, it's still possible. Plus, it's not like your getting rid of the high level character, just making a new one. Plus, that player would need to go through the character creation process all over again, so why not just make a new one?
