Apothecary Remedies

Hey, I'm wondering what apothecary remedies you guys make use of on a regular basis? Any advice on what to stock up on; what couldn't you do without and which of the remedies are essentially useless?

    Basics: life powder, the mp powder (50mp/sec), flourish orbs, and basically anything that heals hp/mp over 10 minutes.

    I use absorb damage pots when I do RB but other than that I never use apoth pots.

    HT clerics at their finest:

    hari: can you do mdef debuffs? makes the fight go faster
    naughty_x: waste, I do more damage without them
    hari: ...you do more damage in 2 seconds than reducing mdef by 35% for 4 casters does in 20 seconds?
    naughty_x: is waste, i do more damage

    hari: 3-3 BH goes a lot faster with a sin
    naughty_x: no, only a difference of like 3 minutes
    hari: ...we've been in here a lot longer than 3 minutes already

    Early on, Life Powder will be your best friend. A bit later, Focus Powder, then Flourish Orbs, which do the same thing for MP and then both HP/MP respectively.

    Keep in mind though that the bonus is affected by the "in combat" reduction, so you'll only be healing 12.5 HP/sec while fighting. The upside is that meditation also doubles the powders' effects, so you can sit down for a few seconds and be good to go again.

    I suppose the "heal 3000 HP over 30 seconds" or whatever can be nice for a tough spot, but I've never used them myself.

    The Orbs of healing are often a Great "Save my tail from a bad situation" button. I also love the speed powders for zooming past people and getting around in FB's sometimes but that is just me.

    The HP/MP Regen ones are of course awesome and you should get a supply.
