    Wow, some people on this thread actually want there to be less freedom in trading just so that a few "less aware people" (euphemism) can avoid being scammed once or twice.

    You want PWI to regulate prices? WHAT? Thats just silly (euphemism).

    Is this the situation you want?

    "Trader: Selling Phoenix Embrace 6m! PM me"
    "Mod: HEY! THE OFFICIAL PRICE RANGE FOR PHOENIX EMBRACE IS 4m-5m! NO SCAMMING!"
    "Trader is banned."

    People learn from their mistakes. If you are scammed once, it is unlikely you will be scammed again. If you ARE scammed twice, then.... never trade again.

    Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

    Don't be silly (euphemism) enough to be scammed twice.

    There is no need to put restrictions on trading simply because a very small minority of people are being scammed!

    The idea to remove catshops was just silly (euphemism). The auction house fees are ridiculous. Without catshops, the game will barely have a community anymore. Empty archosaur... seriously?

    Ok its just a pain in the **** now,GM can one of you just make a trip to our cs npc?EVERY catshop there bar one is clearly scamming,just ban the account and all its items/money outright please,thankyou b:pleased(i can dream)

    when a gem for cs is like 1500 1500 150000 1500 1500 thats clearly a scam not a mistake, or listing chest of coins 150k, 150 155 150 160 150 150 190 150, so is it merely the fact that part of what they are selling is the item and at the right price that they can get away with it? I am not certain but I could see before I noticed them doing this, I mightve fallen for the cs once from simply afking as I fly n click click click back to making lunch as i fly again.

    Even though I agree, you also need to realize that as soon as this issue was "hard coded" solved, people would use this a precedent and start making other demands. I can assure you that the next thing people would go after would be the PVP aspects, since the posts with people in pvp servers complaining about being killed already outnumber the number of posts about scammers. After that, people would go after the "offensive language" as vague as it is.... Sooner or later we would end up with a game where nobody would be allowed to trade, talk or kill other players...

    Unlike bugs, where we as players really cannot do fix them, in this case, we as players actualy have power to stop 100% of all catshop scams. It only takes an extra few seconds to make sure we are getting what we want at the price we want, and not something else. If every player did not buy from them, I can guarantee you that the scammers would go away.

    What i thinlk would b helpful. Is if there message box was available to for all to see. I always leave a message if i see Scammer.They do in other online games seems to work.b:laugh

    I'm really surprised that the BRILLIANT suggestion of creating unique icons (especially 4 valuable items) has not been picked up on!!!!!

    Simple
    cheap
    if there's a down-side I can't see it.

    Every other solution has flaws...

    I've got to totally agree with this post. It sums up exactly what scammming is. You could probably report someone for misleading or misadvertisement if you had sufficient proof (daily consistency with various products) but overpricing cannot be policed. My client still updating so I haven't played yet but I'm actually bothering myself to read everything I can about this game in the forums to AVOID being taken advantage of as a noob. Well, a noob with mmorpg exp.
