i want to know all of the tameable and untameable cat like pets i would also like to know the one that looks best like a cat and how to get a plum tabby kitten

    Pretty sure the plum tabby is the only real cat-like tamable pet.

    thanks but like the short tooth kitten looks simlair to a cat like pets that slightly resemble a cat even the slightist bit would be nice

    I guess you could try to tame a White Tiger... I know they make great tanks, and they can also carry you around when you do not feel like running.
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    Makes me wonder how many other noobs did the same.

    The only tamable mobs that look somewhat like cats (to the best of my knowledge) are the lynxus. This website has screenshots of what they look like they're all the same with different colors), just click the name to see the picture. You can also click the "M" next to the name for more detailed information and a map that shows you where they are.

    Mobs tamed at a lower level will have better stats than those at higher levels but there's not much difference in levels between them so I'd say to just pick your favorite color/the one with the best starting skills. Color choices aren't too great though.

    There's the "Lycean Hunter" line, of which the Grimalkin and Steelhide look most catlike, I think. (Well, as long as you don't mind bright red cats, for the grimalk)

    I tamed a white tiger...

    I was a level 15 barb when I happened onto him. Didn't tame him till level 40 or so though. But it's not clerics that can tame the elusive white tigers; it's girl barbs. ;0

    As for the cat...the tabby is the most like pet cats...others mentioned are more like big cats.
