1)EXP Grinder (difficulty: easy)
if you get a quest which requires killing a monster, try to find some other quest that requires the same, that way you get to do 2 quests with 1 shot! double the exp!
if done separately, can give more exp, but wastes more time... (thanks to Loner) so its up to you to decide wether to waste time or EXP.
2)Picker Sloth (difficulty: intermediate)
once you have multiple items layed an the ground and which you can pick up,
click on oe of them to pick it up, BUT right before you get to pick it, select another item to pick up, that way you rapidly pick more items.
note: using the hotkey can use too, but it wasts space in the hotkey areas.
3)Manufacture them all! (difficulty: advanced)
before you move on to archosaur on lvl 21, make sure ALL your manufacturing skills are at level 2, otherwise you wont be able to manufacture NOTHING.
why its advanced? its kinda hard to gather ALL the materials for lvl 2 on everything.
needs alot of clear time and good info about what mob drops what.
P.S.: if you want a good mining area without wasting time+money adn ur in archo,
then go to wellspring village, teleport to city of the lost -or walk there by foot... your choice b:avoidb:avoid -, and go to the Lunar Pass. there is a gigantic mining area for lowest lvl mats. Credit to Sirrobert - Dreamweaver and to me =3
4)Life manners... (difficulty: easy)
NEVER manufacture more than 5 Chaos Powders, or you will regret that.
Chaos Powders are useful ONLY in fb, and in PVP/PK. start using these alot only in later levels, like around 40+. until then, use Life Powders
5)The Crafters (difficulty: hardly depends on your surroundings... if you a good faction/friends, its easy, if not, its friggin hard) (credit for Xymantha - Dreamweaver for giving me the idea)
if you have a group of 2-3 good friends, each of you should concentrate on doing one manufacturing skill. that way its x4 mat harvesting and x99999999999999 easier to get the stuff.

    1) Is not true, if you do them separately you will gain more exp.

    2) Just use the hotkey..

You make it look like you never return to the starter towns. If I want to manufacter something that's lvl1 manufactering, just go to ether/lost/plume and do it (cheap way, go to welspring village and teleport to lost from there, only 200 instead of 1k, back saves you even more cause of the 3k cost to teleport to arch)
9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm not crazy... the 10th is singing the music of tetris

But the point is getting the mats... once you're a higher level the mobs that usually drop the mats wont drop as often so it will be an extreme pain to get the mats that way and to buy enough to level your skills isn't very economical... but oh well.

try hitting level 50 and needing to craft 3 different 2 star items for each of Blacksmith, Tailor, and Craftsman after you've spread yourself really thin. That is unless you know before you start making only your own gear what exactly it is that you will need to make in order to upgrade to level 4 of each skill. Then you have to do it again at level 80 to get level 6 of each skill. I had no clue that was coming and spent over 1 mil in wasted mats just doing BS alone - till I bought the gear I needed to finish the quest - and those go for around 400k apiece in AH (greedy greedy people) BUT!! the demand is high and the supply is low. If you have a good faction or at least a good group of friends - my personal recommendation is to each concentrate on ONE skill and you each help each other out with manufacturing your higher level gear (and decomping those 3 star drops you dont need so you can get mirage stones).

as for doing 2-3 quests of the same mob at the same time - its up to you. I tend to do that myself at level 70 with the justice envoy and one man army quests. at lower levels your payoff is better to do them separate.
