Bow or Crossbow for pvp?

Is a Bow or Crossbow better for pvp or is it kind of evened out since the Bow i believe is faster than the crossbow.

    People say that spike damage is important for PvP and therefore the crossbow would be better than the bow.

    oh ok, i was sort of thinking the way of criting 2 times with the bow to criting one time with the crossbow would be effective.

    Xbow has a little more punch per shot but shoots less often than the bow. Is basicly about the special abilities of the weapon.

    I WILL NOT get a xbow even if I won't be able to kill anyone ever. It looks like hell. I like bows, but thats only me. Pkers usually get a xbow.

    Bow is slightly faster but how often do you use normal attacks in PvP?


    I might if I'm fighting a mage close to my level but even then I usually just take aim and laugh.

    Unless the bow you get is noticabely better than the crossbow (higher levels) Then use the crossbow.

    Like I've used crossbows since lvl 60 but at lvl 80 im getting the HH80 gold bow.

    eh guess i'll get an xbow then, i do intend to be doing some mass pk/pvp.

    1) Xbow = looks like I'm toting a machine gun when I run. This means you mean business.

    2) Xbow = doesn't block the view of my characters butt.

    3) Xbow = better spike damage.

    4) Xbow = barrage is sexier with it.

    5) Xbow = WIN

    Using xbow is ez mode, that's why (mostly) everyone pk's with it. If you can pvp/tw/pk with a sling and it's low damage, THEN you're a pro b:victory

    Also dont forget pure dex is also easy mode. Put a point in MAG every level and your kills are pro.

    i spent 95% of my pking career w/ a sling shot b:shocked
    I don't care how old or young you are, how small your **** is, how much of a nerd irl you are or how depressed you are that you never will get laid. There is no reason to act like an A-hole to everyone on an mmorpg. Its a shame that I have to take time out of my day to tell people "stop being an A-hole". So I end with this, if your acting like an A-hole, and some one tells you your being an A-hole chances are your being an A-hole.

    My archer has HH70 xbow+3 and it does plenty of damage in PVP, I've oneshotted some LA clerics/mages and eat arcanes for breakfast.
    Bladestorm lets you spin around like a carnival ride and do damage. Not using it is almost like having a move called Confetti Rocket Power Leap and saving it for "emergencies"

    That's Returning Squall, but an 88 crossbow, Windcatcher is even better with Interval -0.1 and Range +2.

    Not true. I'd take the +HP and +2% crit over -.05s and +2 range (lol) any day.

    isn't it obviously?... on PvP for all classes, everything is all about doing spike damages, or even 1 shot kill others.

    so yeah... crossbow = more damages = FTW <3

    Unless you have the lunar glade bow then crossbow.
