More servers in a server

Allow me to explain.
We currently have

Heavens tear
Lost city
Dreamweaver
Sanctuary
Harshlands

Personally i find that enough servers
Its not like servers are that busy
its just terribly laggy in archosaur
and that is basicly the main place after lvl 20

thats why I'm thinkin of having channels in a specific server

Heavens tear : Channel 1 - Channel 2
Lost city : Channel 1 - Channel 2
Dreamweaver : Channel 1 - Channel 2
Sanctuary : Channel - Channel 2
Harshlands : Channel 1 - Channel 2

Allowing players to switch between channel 1 and 2
channel 1 will most probably still be the one used for selling in west archo
so people who experience horrible lag [like me] n have lots of quests
going on in archosaur, can just go to channel 2 to solve the problem

Also Ive experienced at some places its quite busy and lots of people
have a quest that requires mobs there, then itll be also nice to just
switch channels n dont end up ksing or getting ksed all the time n getting frustrated

Ofcourse channel 3/4 can also be added for the servers that exist longer
n are because of that more crowded then the new ones

So what do you all think :)?

    You mean mirrors, or channels, as called in other mmorpgs that utilize the concept? It'd take a lot more coding. Devs are lazy.b:chuckle

    but i indeed mean channels - most used term for it
    might change word server into channel

    No benefit for PWI in terms of the $$$. Wont happen.

    Thats alot of coding to split up, I don't think developers are gonna do that work.
    tbh i dont want as its still playable in archosaur on max details for me ^^
    less would sell in ma catshop Q_Q

    i like the idea i mean more room for more players but.... if they do that where you can switch channels then ppl are going to be asking that about swithcing servers you know what i mean? nice idea tho but if anything the gm's would just make a new server not server channels

    i just suggested it cause every game i played for months had channels.
    And it was nice to just switch if it got to crowded or laggy rather then
    being frustrated and pssed off. Personally its best for me not to
    go to West Archosaur cause the game will entirely freeze
    n its bugging me alot, n im sure im not the only one
    Tbh im always a bit laggy in PW, it never goes smooth
    not even one the porest graphics.

    Reason i quited playing the game i used to play
    was 80% about the company not caring about players
    n making it so cash shop depended you couldnt get a good char without it
    [dont go into discussion about PW being the same, i can say that this
    is nothing, honestly even good, compared to the game i used to play]
    but also because i froze so much, it wasnt fun to play anymore

    ah well in the end it was just to see how people think about it
    who knows what future updates will bring us

    yeah and they try to get rid of the lag it's hard thus the reason for other servers i understand your point but like i said it'll be hard if they do it then the other ppl will complain about not being able to take your person from heaven tears server to lost city you know? it's a win lose kinda sadly to say =\ but i do like the idea tho

    In order to access channel 2 you need a ticket. The ticket can be convienently located in the in-game boutique by pressing O. The ticket will cost 30 gold.

    Both Ether Saga, and Jade Dynasty, games made by the same developers as Perfect World, have channels. It wouldn't be so hard for them to put them here.

    i know alot of games with channels n never there has been complains
    about server switching, only by persons that didnt like their server but
    didnt wanna give up on their char. but it wasnt like omg you can switch channels so why not servers it are 2 different things. Once you choose a server youre bound to it but that doesnt mean you cant go to another channel
    to escape the lag n crowded places to finally just have a game running smooth

    well actualy it would be a good idea cuz in 1 game a played eweryone used realm 1 as a trading zone and there were shops only in that area

    so if this would work yea awesomeness

    and no1 minded going there just for items

    Sounds like a lot of things. Many mmorpgs use mirrors/channels, PW not having it is an exception instead of the rule.

    Why do people complain about west arch? just lower settings and just go elsewhere besides WEST ARCH (if that happens on other servers) I think thats enough servers, nice, maybe for newcomers, but i think thats enough

    This is a very bad idea. Because of the fact you say this from your experience with lag, either get new internet or press ctrl + F9 to solve this. PWI doesnt need more servers, its a big hit, but its not a blockbuster like others, so for the time being these servers are fine.
